Okay, so I went to the movies with some friends tonight and we watched the new Mission: Impossible movie. Of all the questions about plotholes and stuff one keeps really bothering me: What language was it that the “bad guys” were speaking? It was never referred to, which I found extremely odd. It was certainly a Germanic language. After ruling out oblivious languages I got stuff with Swedish, Norwegian and Yiddish. My first guess was Yiddish because they were supposed to be ex-spies (-> Mossad) but then I saw that the actress is actually from Sweden, so that might be a possibility. Although I would find Swedish ex-spy bad guys somewhat unusual and if that were the case then they should have at least mentioned it once in the fricking movie. Or is this just another case of ‘The bad guys were supposed to be German so we had to switch languages in the German version’?
Wikipedia does not help either. Does someone know?
Split with Benny The Jet Rodriguez by Martha
Martha is back in force! The contribution from Benny The Jet Rodriguez is mindboggling for someone with Swedish as a first language. Dom kan inte höra musiken is Swedish for They can’t hear the music but I couldnt make out the rest of the lyrics...
