Sometimes I consider which characters I've truly become emotionally attached to and. It's boys with swords. All of them
Is it the biys, or the swords. Or the combination.
Which is it you useless brain??
Also let's not forget my bordering on absurd obsession with NGE and Pacific Rim/any huge ass mech sort of thing being piloted by (a) human(s).
So honestly. Pacific Rim AUs. NGE tech inserts. (Because for the life of me I can't remember any other movie, anime or other series. There are more. I just can't remember #lifewithadhd)
Huge robots fighting with ridiculous swords against hostile life forms trying to invade earth and destroy things.
I can't be the only one who needs such ridiculous over the top BS. Perhaps tomorrow I'll have the peace of mind for some sketches. Idk. Imagine Zoro piloting an EVA and slicing up an angel with his three sword style. Do EVAs even have a proper mouth to hold a sword with? Or would it rather be a Jäger?! But a Jäger needs a second pilot and who's gonna adopt his crazy ass fighting style? Can you imagine Law learning just so his boy toy can wreck some Kaiju into the next Breach activity? Because Law really... Mmh. Ope Ope is some good stuff right there. And Kikoku is something else entirely. You can't really expect Zoro to go from handling three swords that are about half his size to handling one that is taller than him. I mean if Luffy asked he'd try but then again would Luffy ask? He knows Zoro's a force to be reckoned with on his own so would the need arise for a Jäger-system?
I mean, in this particular case its really difficult to decide, because in and of itself the two pilots, neural handshake, drifting thing kinda takes away from the whole absurd overpoweredness of NGE.
So what if we take NGE and one is the pilot and the other is the EVA? Law would definitely make for a nice EVA, cryptic asshole. Also he's ridiculously tall (Would that make Doflamingo an EVA as well? Fuck I hope not) and he has the longer sword. And Ope Ope. Arguably more suited to the EVA.
Is that too much? It's so ridiculously too much that I really can't go without it. Goddammit Spyro.
