this is kinda random but I have a small storytime about one of our headmates that im (lightheartedly) a little frustrated with rn

okay so we have this fictive. and hes sourced from a Japanese game and as expected the characters in the game have Japanese names. and we usually have fictives with ethnic names get new ones because we're White As Fuck, yk how it goes

however. this one guy. straight up REFUSES to change his name no matter how many times we ask him. AND THE WORST PART. is that it doesnt even have anything to do with his attachment to his source or anything, he ONLY insists on keeping his source name SPECIFICALLY because hes a bougie bitch (/aff) who doesnt like it when people refer to him casually and only allows others to refer to him by his surname. it is the most STUPID possible reason to be so attached to his name /silly

so now we're on the hunt for a surname he likes that he can switch to

honestly we never struggled with ethnic names or stuff,, i mean im literally named after icecream,, but i think it must be hell for those who do have ethnic names.

the most annoying (/silly) thing about fictives is that (at least for us) they will be quoting their source NON STOP because 9 times out of 10 they split while we were super hyperfixated on their source

i just had to fuss at a ninjago fictive in the back of front for quoting master wu at me. what is my life

I love my friends highkey because I dont think all of them know 100% what alterhumanity is but every now and then ill be like "I am the vamp ever" and they'll be like "yasss" and its so silly and fun and awesome.. even if they arent Knowers they at the very least think its cool and I love that about them

we've started to feel a really strong attachment to moths and we aren't sure if it's just a deep fascination with them or if we're beginning to have moths as a kintype/theriotype shfhjdfh help /silly

i can say that i was personally the same with wolves, only for me to realize that i'm wolfhearted. i'm sure that with some self reflection, you+ could figure out how you+ feel about it! i wish you+ luck on figuring it out!
