y'all ever think about how even though Barbara pretends to only care about money and status (because as a woman in power she's forced to not trust anyone and to build a thick outside because of the patriarchal pressure that if a woman is in power she must be perfect and can't have any emotions because for men, emotions = weak = woman) often dismissing Tabby and Selina, she will always come to their rescue because deep down she knows and understands that especially Tabby has always cared and been there for her from the very beginning and that losing her would mean losing not only that huge pillar of support but also losing that humanity that Tabitha manages to effortlessly bring out of her

And how Tabitha even though she has been fucked over by Barbara and they've had fights over stuff, understands Barbs and knows all the pressure and stress she's subjected to and what that does to a person, fully knowing that she's actually a caring person. Tabs can see through her metal shield and not only see but reach and pull out the caring woman that's behind it. She understands her but she also doesn't put up with her bullshit and will call it out which makes Barbara reconsider herself and actually change for the better (even tho she might put up a bit of a fight first)
