tablet weavers!
I've just started a new project and the gold yarn I've decided to use is so slippery that it keeps coming loose from the warp, causing issues.
Do you have any solutions to stop it doing that? should I swap it out for a yellow instead? or do you have suggestions for less slippery gold?
I'm using an inkle loom, if that changes anything.
I have a tablet woven band coming up for sale tomorrow. Available on my Etsy for EU countries tomorrow!
Photo of the custom dyed tablet woven birka band by Lidiya from RowanberryJam. I LOVE how it looks.

WIP tablet woven band. I always find the finished band on the loom highly satisfying to look at. This is approximately 4 meters & I like to finish the cut warp by plaiting.
Completed card woven band! This came out so pretty. It’s done in cotton using a pattern from the book ‘Tablets at Work’.
