Been listening to some David Eddings audio books. I love the Elenium, I’m still reading the Tamuli.

I thought I had to rewrite 3000 words of my wip. Turns out rewriting only 500 will sort the problem. I call that a win.

Titles of Edding's Books

I mentioned this before but never got a satisfied answer. So here it goes The Belgariad, Pawn of Prophecy, Queen of Sorcery, Magician's Gambit, Castle of Wizardry and Enchanter's End. Each title references something in chess. Pawn, queen and castle are all chess pieces while gambit and end game are part of game play. The Malloreon, Guardians of the West, King of the Murgos, Demon Lord of Karanda, Sorceress of Darshiva and Seeress of Kell. Each of these titles refer to someone(s) title. The guardians are Belgarion, Belgarath and Polgara, and the protect the west from those who wish to destroy it. Each of the others are also rulers or leaders of their own realm. The Elenium Trilogy. The Diamond Throne, The Ruby Knight and The Sapphire Rose. All three are rare and very valuable gems. Finally we have the Tamuli Trilogy. Domes of Fire, The Shinning Ones and The Hidden City. What is the tie and correlation with all three titles?
