Important Question

So I know you can't use a terrarium tank as an aquarium, but can you do the opposite; use an aquarium tank as a terrarium tank?

I ask because I was helping a family friend clean out a house and found a (I think 5 gallon) fish tank. I've been wanting to get a class pet for my 3-year-olds so I was thinking of using the tank to house 2 hermit crabs.

I’m not very good at planning out my aquascapes. Any tips to make it look a little more aesthetically pleasing or neater? This is gonna be a shrimp tank so I was thinking of putting in a little marimo ball playground too.

Building custom tank

For a western hognose! What's the best way to create my own top? I have no idea aside from screen and a thick, long thing of elastic. I don't think building my own frame will work out very well and the top does need to be breathable for the baby.

I wanna start out a shrimp tank since I have a free 20 gallon that’s nicely planted.

I’m already planning on adding some driftwood and mosses so that they have more places to hide and play. What are some things I should change about it besides that? I’ve heard a sponge filter is better than a hob filter but could I keep the hob filter? Would it be possible to add in small fish such as guppies or should it be solely shrimp? How do you clean the gravel at the bottom when you have shrimp? Do you just have to be really careful not to suck them out with the vacuum? Thank you!

Anyone have experience with Tetra SafeStart??

I wanted to wait for Morty's new tank to cycle (when it gets here) before I moved him but it's looking like I'm not going to be able to do that.

If anyone has any tips for how to make it nicer for him, please let me know, hes my first gecko and I took him in after my family decided they werent able to take care of him the way he needs

Help!!

My friend is trading me a 55 gal and a 40 breeder for 2 of my back up 20 gal tanks.

I know I want to move my community tank into the 40 breeder but i have no idea what to do with a 55!?
