Curb Fight that I drew for @ikrutt 's Curb draw for Artfight, I based this from my knowledge of the Curb (Fictional Thylacine) species from @alhilton 's Hunters Unlucky. I made this prior to reading the book, but I still take pride in the work I put into illustrating this battle between two Lowland Curb tribes over a river.
After reading the book (which I recommend for anyone that's read xenofiction), I have slightly developed a different view of the curb species. There's themes of cultural genocide, the vicious cycles of revenge & hatred, inter/intraspecies competition & politics. I will admit that most of the plot is focused not on the Curb species (Lowland & Highland respectively). Perhaps there will be more Curb related content in the future!
The style is based on the Codex Tovar's Battle of Coyohuacan, along with an experimental 'Curb Script' I developed. There's plants and elements derived from Nahua glyphs as an homage to the original scribes that illustrated these books on Indigenous Mexican history.

Tasmanian tigers were such unique looking animals
WE JUST HAD AN ELECTION WTF FUCK ROCKCLIFF, FUCK WINTER AND JESUS CHIRT FUCK THE TASSIE GREENS RN
(This post is made by a Tasmanian Australian who just voted two weeks ago after a vote of no confidence. This resulted in the exact same outcome as the previous election (a minority liberal government burn them fuck the libs)
An hour ago, the guy who ran against rockcliff who we also hate as were a multiple party system with party’s and independents and everyone/anyone can win. He’s called winter and he’s called for another vote of no confidence after rockcliff just got sworn in less 15 hours ago to my knowledge.
So now we’re going for another election after just paying 100s of thousands of tax payers money on one we had two weeks ago. It’s going to give us the same results as last time and repeat.
We’re going to keep doing this until someone re-enacts the ides of March.)
The Thylacine, or Tasmanian Tiger.
Extinct, or are the recent sightings true?
