I know that we as a fandom love to delve into the Thames and theorize about all the 'what ifs?' surrounding this family, mainly because the various mysteries that the canon creates contribute to this, but I think we should start doing something similar with the Henituse.
Why? Because they are not a normal family either.
The Henituse have been recognized for generations as the family with the best martial artists in the kingdom, and currently Lily (who is already an exceptional swordswoman for her age and a true genius) must be the Henituse who best represents the lineage's potential, being the (only) ones responsible for protecting the Roan Kingdom from the dangers of the Dark Forest for centuries, a responsibility that would not be given to a family that was not capable of sustaining it.
Beyond this point, which already clearly demonstrates the importance of the Henituse family, there are several other points that raise some questions, such as the family motto about not being marked in history, as if the Henituse wished to go unnoticed and for their deeds and abilities not to be remembered. Or the family emblem, which was once different but at some point became a golden turtle, containing within it the representation of a rock, something that only the Stan and Crossman families (two families that proved to be very important in history, with some kind of connection to the WS) also had in their emblems. Or how the Henituse, even being so rich and powerful, always maintained political neutrality, remaining as the protective shield of the kingdom. And, of course, one of the points that still intrigues me to this day is the fact that Deruth, who has always been portrayed as an ordinary person with nothing special about him, seems to be aware of Zed's secret actions and close enough to the king to treat him with familiarity, something that has never been explained in the story. He also seems to have some knowledge of what really happened to the Thames.
These are several details that, when taken separately, don't seem so strange, but when considered together, they paint an interesting picture that raises many questions. That's why I think we should explore the Henituse lineage a little more and what kind of mysteries it might be hiding, because to me it seems like a goldmine of possibilities to be explored.
