Okay I think the Hasegawa family is just cursed.

First, youngest child, Reina, at four years old, gets hit by a car and dies. Right in front of her brother and while her sister is close by.

Eleven years later, things look great. Mao is a crime journalist and Ken appears on TV doing quiz shows. He earns a lot of money, and his future looks secure and set. And then as far as the rest of the world is concerned he disappears off the face of the earth.

Ken gets absolutely CHEWED up and SPAT out by the killing game he’s thrust into for a reason he never learns of. He gets BRANDED. The girl who asked him to protect her dies a few days later. The first friend he perhaps EVER made outside of his immediate family is brutalized and his corpse is desecrated for like NO REAL REASON besides some one-sided rivalry he had no connections to and to screw with KEN specifically. And he’s largely on his own for the rest of the game, the only possible help he could’ve gotten being from other traumatized teenagers. And he runs out of his anxiety medication around that time. And then loses an eye.

So, he loses it. He grows resentful of the rest of the student body and in his isolation he grows to believe they’re all these awful, selfish people and need to die. He grows blind to the fact he isn’t the only one missing Kamimura. While some can definitely be viewed as selfish, some if not most wouldn’t sacrifice the group to save their own skins.

But now, he doesn’t care about surviving anymore. He would’ve been dead before returning to the outside world no matter what. So he spends like a WEEK AND A HALF dedicating himself to plotting to kill one and trick the rest into getting it wrong. Because nothing matters to him anymore. He and the rest of them HAVE to die in his mind.

And then he kills a girl, leaving her family to search for her forever not knowing where she had ended up. And he narrowly misses success in his scheme. Then he is TORTURED to death.

And then Mao is left to pick up the pieces and search for answers herself. And then SHE is abducted into this same killing game with her roommate apparently. She is picked specifically BECAUSE she is relentless in her search for her brother.

And she HAD to of learned of what happened to her brother. Two years later, she learns at least the major beats of the horrible, horrible fate of her brother, of a boy she knew all his life and tried to protect and look after all his life, of a boy who described her as his best friend.

And then, according to the wiki, she takes her own life to get everyone else out torture-scape she was abducted into. She’s forced into this decision because some sick, sick excuse of a human she never even met decided she wanted to kill so many people, children even, to prove some point. But I wouldn’t be surprised if her learning of what happened to her little brother impacted her decision.

Their poor, POOR family man. Their mom.

If we made it to chapter 5 of White I would’ve lost my mind. They make me so sad my word.

VON'S APOLOGY (ANALYSIS)

For those who were unaware, I was recently informed by an Anon asker that Von opened her twitter account again for the first time in months after Von was outed as an awful person. For grooming minors, sending ns.fw pictures to people who are minors, drawing 18..+ art of minor characters to someone who didn't exactly agree to it, harassment of fans, and so much more.

She linked a website to the post where it is a 2k+ word document where she apologizes, thanks her supporters, and details how they are trying to get better. This is the link for the apology, JustPaste.it - Share Text & Images the Easy Way

I have examined her hiatus notice before, stating multiple times that Von ran away from what they did by hiding the fact of why she was even taking hiatus in the first place, and now I wish to do it again with her official apology statement. I am sorry if this manages to sound off in any way, I have been having issues with sleeping recently, I have such a bad sleeping schedule, so I haven't been exactly good, but I made sure to check everything beforehand and reread through it. I am also so sorry for finishing this late, I should have worked harder, but I was really procrastinating and had a couple writing blocks. I am sorry. I tried my hardest to make sure i wasn't just nitpicking, but I'll probably reached for a bit so I am sorry if there are any moments where I nitpicked. Firstly, we'll do this section by section, so this doesn't get scattered. In total, I will be doing 9 sections.

1. Thank you

Von thanks everyone for the support over the last three years, thanking everyone for giving her the opportunity, and the number of friends and fans she managed to gather with this work. I don't have a massive problem with this section. The only thing I really have a problem with is the format of this. I don't know why she didn't start off with the next section where she apologizes for everything. Honestly the way this is formatted is really weird for me. This could be just a me issue because I do struggle with English, but why didn't she start off with this and leave the "Thank you section" just after this. Though, I don't have that much of a massive problem with it, but it could have been formatted better. ...but I don't think even with it being formatted better you could save the next section because Von avoids accountability once again.

2. I'm sorry

During this entire section, it's all bunches of apologies. They didn't even really apologize to the people they actually hurt. "I'm sorry for violating everyone's trust, and i'm sorry for letting everyone down. "I want to make it explicitly clear that i am extremely sorry." "I just want it known that i am sorry. sorry to the fans of tetro, sorry to the people who supported me, and sorry to my friends."

What about what you did? Where is "I'm sorry for harassing people, I'm sorry for sending NS...FW pics to multiple people, I'm sorry for using AI." This is a repeated behavior of Von, always apologizing or leaving for something they do not inform us about. Yes, they did technically say "I'm sorry" but for what? Maybe, you don't want the rest of your unaware fans to leave you if you admit that you groomed multiple people in your apology because that means you actually did groom someone and it’s not just speculation. How you sent multiple NS...FW pictures to minors or of minors characters to people without their consent. What about the people you groomed, do those count as friends? What about the people you repeatedly bullied off your server? Oh, do those count as fans too? I don't think they are fans anymore. Here is a more honest way. "I'm sorry to the people I have hurt, I admit I did groom someone, I sent 1.8+ images, both fictional and real, to people without considering how they felt. I knew their ages but despite that, I still willingly ignored the ages of the people I was texting for [reason]." and then list other issues like AI usage, harassing people, fetishiz.ation of characters and chapters, and MORE It's not that hard.

3. i think there's something wrong with me and i'm trying to fix it.

What an insane section title. I think? I think? Von, did the crimes you did not make you think "Oh yeah there's something really wrong with me why am i sending a minor this?" Von explains that they have suffered through manipulative behavior for a long time and from the way she writes it, there has been something major that happened due to this behaviour that was very similar to the Tetro fandom. That after only because of Tetro she realized that something was indeed wrong, and she knew she needed professional help. It seemed like that only after achieving fame and praise from others then losing it all was the reason they now started to realize their actions were wrong. "After the fallout of tetro, I immediately turned to extremely self-destructive and self-isolating behaviour. I stopped eating completely and started physically hurt.ing myself with the goal of permanently disabling my hands so that i wouldn't be able to write or draw anymore. i spiraled extremely deeply into behaviours that aren't normal or healthy." Von, this is painting yourself as a victim. You are saying I went into a spiral after this because of you getting found out while you try to back it up and say "however, i don't believe i could have ever reached a point of self-awareness without this fall." is not someone who wants to be forgiven, it's someone who wants to appear to be forgiven.

What about the people you abused, Von? Did you ever think they would spiral just like you because they were abused by you? People who want to be forgiven do not admit that they started to spiral, maybe they do but they don't especially admit to self....ha.rming, they admit to their actions and admit they have done steps to make sure they can get the help they need and is actively doing stuff to better themselves. This.... isn't. Maybe you are doing the steps you said you are but are you doing it for actually wanting to become a better person or only now because you lost everything? Don't act like you did this because you are becoming better because you realized it.

4. i have nothing. i walked away with tetro with absolutely nothing.

Von explains how she has no money due to the fact she already spent them. She doesn't have any income and when she does, she will use it for her therapy due to her past behaviors. So even though she says she'll give any of the people she took advantage of any amount money for the damages she has done... She just cannot. (i have nothing. i walked away with tetro with absolutely nothing. every dollar i earned while running tetro was spent on the exact things i said i would spend it on, meaning i didn't retain any of it, and i have nothing to give back. i'm extremely sorry for this. i have no income. i'm still a student and i'm still working towards being able to sustain an income. when i do sustain an income, that income will be going towards therapy that i desperately need and cannot afford. this is a priority for me, because i don't want anything like this to ever happen again. if i had anything to give back to the community, i would give it back, but i don't have anything, and likely won't have anything for several years.)

No Von, most of us would probably say to actually admit to what you did. But you don’t. At all. "in this same vein, if this matters to you, please know that i have been extensively punished. i have lost my entire income, i have lost any clientele i built since high school, i have lost any reputation i may have had, i have lost almost everyone i know, i have lost my project, i have lost my health, i have lost my privacy, i have lost my security. i have my family and loved ones. everything else is gone. there is nothing else i can give to repent. i'm sorry." I have some questions, but this seems like hyping up what you did, Von… I don’t think she was doxxed or anything so why is she saying some of this stuff. “i have lost any reputation i may have had,” well, maybe in a business sense of Von continuing on as Tetro being something she can label as one of her major and starter projects but no you really didn’t. You have a life outside of this (or at least I hope) where no one knows what happened. Yes, your image as Von has sunk but you’re still majorly fine. “i have lost my privacy“ How? Is it because people leaked your messages of being a creep and sending stuff to minors you probably shouldn’t? “i have lost my security.” I genuinely don’t get this one, maybe because she’s now super paranoid but ehh…. “everything else is gone. ” a bit overdramatic like I said, this is just online. You are fine in real life and if Von doesn’t have a great real life, you can easily make another identity online. You even state you will be doing this in a later section. Everything else is true… I guess.

Maybe I’m being a bit too rude here though.

5. i love my friends. regardless of anything anyone has said about me

"i genuinely love my friends. the people who were closest to me know exactly who they are, and i want them to know above anyone else that i am extremely, extremely sorry." Above anyone else? What about the people you hurt? Did... Von just admit she's not actually sorry or at least, that's not really the reason she's making this apology for... Not for the people she hurt but for the people who were closest to her. She's not sorry she hurt people, she's sad because she lost her friends and people who praised them. And with three people, it’s working since three people gave this apology a thumbs up… If you can even call it an apology. " i won't ever ask them to reconnect with me or forgive me, but a day does not pass where i don't cry about having lost them. " This is guilt tripping "i love you so much, and i miss you so much, and i hope you continue doing well for the rest of your lives, and i hope you forget about me completely. you owe me nothing, and anything you gained from tetro was because of your own hard work and talent and merit. thank you for being my friends, good luck, and i'll miss you." Is it just me or does this just sound so fake? "anything you gained from tetro was because of your own hard work and talent and merit" I guess this is for people who might have been close to her and posted about Tetro? She's trying to say anything (likes, followers, subscribers, fame, etc) was not because of Tetro but because of their "own hard work and talent and merit." I guess she's saying it because she used AI for it so she is saying it's not real work (which it isn't) But.... she doesn't admit she used AI at all in the apology, so this sentence just sounds off. Like, why would you say my work isn't real work then turn around the next sentence and never admit why it isn't real work. This is just confusing to anyone who doesn't know a single thing, I can list so many reasons why you could be saying this. Examples, did you steal it from a secret coworker and then claim it as your own? Did you steal it from a fanfic? Did your friend write it but then after you got it not credit them and cut them off? Did you use AI purely? Did you ask AI to make a story based on [book] but as a Danganronpa story? See? There's so many reasons why she could be saying this and you could not know. Like I said, you can't say my work isn't real work then turn around the next sentence and never admit why it isn't real work This whole sentence is a rather confusing mess, and I don't know if it's a me issue or a Von issue....

6. i'm going to go back to my life. i have no other choice.

"i'll probably write again. i'll probably make things again. it probably won't be for an extremely long time, and it won't be anything close to what tetro was, and i won't treat it like i treated tetro. i have a much better understanding of what i can handle and what i can't. i can't handle being friends with the people i work with. i can't handle reading comments or running a server or a wiki or engaging socially with my community. " Please don't. I don't want you to have a community and you know you shouldn't have one where you can easily create a parasocial relationship with your fans and potentially having those fans where instead of calling you out when you do this again will defend you and attack the people who were abused instead of you. It probably won't be less than a year before you decide to make something again under another username. Additionally the “I can’t handle [subject]” is just weird, so you are telling me, “i can't handle being friends with the people i work with” caused you to go off and groom people. “ i can't handle reading comments or running a server or a wiki or engaging socially with my community” Not only is this just terrible if you are going to continue doing writing since reading comments is the way you get criticism which you clearly can’t handle. Additionally, no correlations. How did reading comments, running a server, a wiki, or having basic social interaction cause you to go off and groom people… How did it cause you to use AI? This happened before you had any of these so how did that happen?

The way Von describes this is like it was the heat of the moment but it’s not, you directly created an alternate account to harass people, cause fear in people, talk shit multiple times behind people’s back in professional settings, and even turned people against them. This isn't the heat of the moment where you say something rude. That is planned and happens too many times to be an accident or heat of the moment.

7. i'll be gradually deleting my social media pages in the next few weeks or so. this is a personal preference.

To remove anything problematic she said or even hide something we don’t know about yet but I don’t have a massive problem with this due to the fact it is deleting her entire account which isn’t just shutting down the account which yay! Von is gone.

“i'll be leaving tetro up unless the cast wants it gone. i have not logged into the tetro account in two months and gain nothing from its continued success, so if you still want to watch tetro, please rest assured knowing i gain absolutely nothing from you doing so, and that you're only helping promote the voice actors and video editors who worked hard to make the project happen.”

Now, it has been suspected that she could be still getting monetization because an Anon asker said to me that a month ago it was still monetized which means she could be still making money which we do not want. At least, we don’t want it to be from Tetro. Even if she is not making money from Tetro, I still advise you to go seek other channels that have reuploaded any archives of the videos, she could suddenly switch it on since she stated she is not planning to take it down. Unsubscribe to the channel too because it’s probably simply ego from taking it down since she gained 19k followers from it, don’t leave any hate just unsubscribe.

If you do still wish to view Tetro out of love for the series and/or to support the voice actors, please search up archive channels NOT FROM FELIX THOUGH. You can find some by simply searching up tetro danganronpa archives or I do have some in my blog if you just scroll down a tiny bit. If you want to support the voice actors, please go check out any of their other series they have voice acted in and donate to them, there is a post which is pinned in my blog which links to all of this.

8. Thank you again. for three years

The only thing that is remotely an apology for any people who were abused by them is “i'm sorry for betraying you, lying to you and manipulating you.” but I don’t think it matters this point, they don’t take any accountability at all.

“please continue supporting everyone else who worked on tetro in all of their future endeavours, and please do so without burdening them with anything to do with tetro” Von is right here! Please go support the voice actors, there are donation links which I have one pinned in my blog and you can find them by searching through tetro danganronpa tags. Plus these voice actors commonly appear in other projects, typically fanganronpas but some do appear in series like Disventure Camp, Inanimate Insanity, and so many other series! If you want to hear more, they are normally typically attached in the donation link which I have pinned in “projects!” you can also find their youtube, twitter, and other social media accounts if they don’t have any donation links.

“if anyone i worked with previously is reading this, the next part of this message is for you.” So I had some hope that this last part was actually for the people who you know were actually groomed, harassed, and abused by her but… it’s for her workers which I bet most of them were somewhat friends with her.

The reason she never apologizes to the people who she actually hurt and only doing it for certain people. Simple, she does not want to admit there were people she abused and took advantage of.

9. I'm sorry, i care about you, and goodbye. 

“i'm sorry for lying and for falling back on old habits that i knew would destroy me if the kind of person i was ever got out.” Again, it just feels to me that she’s not exactly sad for being a terrible human-being but for getting caught in the act and losing everything in the process. “i take full responsibility for any hardship you endured during and after tetro. i'm sorry.” You don’t though, you never admit the truth anywhere.

I don’t have much to say other than everything just feels like guilt tripping, trying to get her old friends or workers to come back or just to feel guilt for her. To get one more message from them, that’s probably why she says she’s spiraling because she wants people who were close to her to come back to at least say they feel bad for what she’s going through. For the section that’s the longest it really has nothing in it. I’m sorry to disappoint you.

I just don't get why someone would make an apology if it's like this? You don't really apologize, well you do, but for what? you never say what you are apologizing for.

A positive thing to note because I am so happy to hear this!

This was one of Von's tumblr posts back in the day and she mentions she works as a teacher in a kindergarten which is for really tiny kids like 5–7 year old kids. As I discussed before, it's highly concerning that a groomer is with KINDERGARTENERS. Especially with a history of sending NS.FW stuff to minors. It's something that has always been twisting me up from the inside. She was still working as a kindergarten teacher. It was utterly sick. No matter how hard people who were hurt by them screamed that she groomed minors. She was still around children. Well... I wish for you to carefully read this message

"I'm going to focus on graduating from school and getting a job" I don't know when she lost this job, was this earlier? But she lost her job. She isn't near kids anymore. Please Von, you mentioned trying to get a stable job for your therapy. I beg you not to go near those bloody children ever again. I do not want to hear of you working near minors or children OR anyone you easily take advantage of. I'm in need of advice. I saw some posts about the TDRW situation about how the VAs don't want any of us to interact with Tetro WHITE and I don't know what to do, because the problem is that I have a yumeship AND a fanfic associated with it, and I'm like: 'Should I just cancel the fanfic AND break up with Takanohara??' because it feels like the more appropriate decision to make but...I really, REALLY want to work on the fanfic, and I care about Jiki, a LOT. So basically, I'm stumped. What should I do now??
