Made up title

Ted meets Teddy au

Well anon, this went angsty real fast and I do not apologise for that.

An AU where Ted didn't actually die, his body was misidentified and he ended up in a coma in a Muggle hospital.

He wakes up, no idea where he is or what's happening in the wizarding world, but he knows he has to get back to his family.

He has lost his wand so he has to get home by muggle transport. But finally, finally, he arrives home, completely unsure as to what he is going to find waiting for him. Andromeda answers the door and nearly faints, their reunion is filled with tears and a lot of frantic kissing and Andromeda telling him that he is never allowed to put her through anything like that again.

And then Ted asks where Dora is, and Andromeda can't speak, she just shakes her head, tears falling down her face, which tells him everything he needs to know. And then he hears a baby's cry from the other room. Andromeda takes his hand, leading him to the crib.

"This is your grandson," she says. "This is Teddy."
