So I am in Tarapoto by now, in the high jungle of Peru. Today I enter Katari Center with my students to lead my art and medicine retreat. We start with a Temascal sweat lodge and later at night our first ceremony with my healer/shaman @herbert_quinteros . Then tomorrow we start painting our healing visions. This here is the painting that I started here at last year’s retreat and it ended being an ode to Arianne @themetanoist and all the deep healing Love she brought into my life. Sadly she was not meant to be with me in this current journey, as the self-love I am searching for has to come from my own heart root and not from any external sources. I have to conquer myself alone. I also decided to do a whole “dieta” this time, taking daily dosages of the power plant “Bobinsana”. In order for it to fully do its work I can’t have any food with flavour for the next week, no salt, condiments, no sugars (including fruit), that might take away from the potency of that medicine. Also no soap, deodorant, bug spray, toothpaste, masturbation, touching anybody, etc. Another challenging fast of sorts that will be hard, yet will make the aya ceremonies that more effective. I am tired of my insecurities and I am here to remove all that dosnt serve me anymore. Nobody said the path of Self-Realization was an easy one, but definitely worth it!
