March is over. I still cannot believe it. But apparently yes, it is now April. So it is time for the books I finished in March: 🔸 The Hazel Wood. I’m glad I read it but it does not live to the hype. Which is a shame. And there are some serious issues which were handled very badly. 🔸 Tender is The Night. Sadly, a DNF. 🔸 Middlemarch. This was such a difficult yet satisfactory read. 🔸 Bless Me, Ultima. My first 5-star read. I loved it but I can see it is not for everybody. 🔸 Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine. I’ve talked about this book before and there are some things which aren’t handled as best they could but I enjoyed reading Eleanor’s story and it made me smile. 🔸 Possession. Had to read this for Uni and it was, let me tell you, a tedious task. The last 150 pages were fine and the ending is a satisfactory one but nothing can make up for the struggle it was to read this and not because it was difficult to read — I wasn’t, at all — but it was boring as hell. • • Marzo nos deja y ya puedo hablar de las lecturas de este mes: 🔸The Hazel Wood. Este libro no merece el hype que tiene. Es entretenido pero la prota es insufrible y hay algunas cosas que me irritaron bastante. 🔸Middlemarch. Leer este libro no fue nada fácil pero me encantó. 🔸Tender is The Night. No lo acabé. 🔸Bless Me, Ultima. Adoro este libro. Es el primero este año al que le doy 5 estrellas. 🔸Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine. Lectura entretenida que te deja una sonrisa en la cara pero también tiene sus problemas. 🔸Possession. Este sí que me costó. No es nada difícil de leer pero es aburrido, muy aburrido.
