Sometimes when Starscream is alone, he’s seeing Jetfire’s ghost. His dearest friend, the bot he once adored, and loved. Every time Jetfire’s ghost appears, it makes his spark ache and he tries to ignore it, to make the illusion leave, but he just can’t. Jetfire seems looking at him with sadness, regrets, and disappointement, and Starscream hates it. He hates him, this mech who abandoned him, that he can’t get out of his head. (…)

I find SG Starscream, Ulchtar and the pre-war G1 Starscream are pretty much alike. Good willed and good hearted scientist, curious, smart and polite with many friends and people that love them around. But they're also vain and full of themselves.

The difference is how the events turned their morals and minds.

I must admit, while I'm excited by the idea of a Skybound show, I'm still a little skeptical because I really didn't care for Starscream becoming Ultchar. One because the name Ultchar is stupid and doesn't sound like a cybertronian name, and because I think that Starscream can be redeemed by not changing pretty much everything about him.

Starscream, also known as Ulchtar, featuring some of the war tattoos based on his appearance in Revenge of the Fallen. I had to give him stars in the background too, of course, with "star" being a part of his name.

All made with traditional utensils: coloured pencil, pencil, pen, marker, highlight pen, acrylic paint, and watercolour paint.
