At this time, we’re ready to share the statistics from last year’s Big Bang! 2023 was another year full of amazing fics and wonderful art 💖
Notes for this year’s stats:
Once again, every comic page was counted as an individual “artwork” because a lot of work goes into making one comic page.
For 2023, the word count requirement was upped to 15,000. Art requirements were upped to include at least one additional sketch alongside a full illustration.
There was no surprise main character dominance for 2023, with multiple characters sharing a similar number of fics as the main character. Those characters were mostly series staples such as Optimus Prime, Megatron, Ratchet, and Starscream.
The AU stat once again sat at 50% this year!
Authors aimed to take their readers on a ride in 2023, with an increase in the “Creator Chose Not Not To Use Archive Warnings” warning!
