Does anyone else thing Tarn would have been a perfect addition to Transformers Prime? With the tone they were trying to set for the series, he would have fit right in. You just know he would have killed a bunch of humans without any hesitation, and his voice ability would have given the Autobots a hard time.
He certainly would have given Jack, Raf, and Miko a very lasting impression if they crossed paths. I can already see what their first meeting with him would be like;
āMy ability doesnāt work on non-Cybertronians, but thatās really no problem for your species. After all, you humans are just⦠so⦠fragile.ā Tarn easily squeezed his hand around the human, an audible snap and wet squelch echoing throughout the area. They went limp in his hand, red liquid seeping through his fingers, and he dropped them in front of the three children.
Say what you want, but these kids are involved in a war with giant robots. They should have had a lot more close calls with dying and have actually trauma that affected them.
(Side note, I can totally see Tarn being voiced by Keith David. He would be perfect for the role)
The last page of my prompt comic from which @vsphelix brilliant author got the base idea for their enthralling work. This is a thrilling chapter that also grasps and shakes the feelings, and even unmercifully clutches them. Read it! For your sake! šāā¬

This was so much fun to create! I loved @emperor-kumquat story for Tarn and the rest of Loyalty (transformers mercy version of the DJD) in the Discovery Path of Transformers Mercy. Please go check out EKās page and read Mercy for yourselves! Itās so good.
Shoutout to @cuppajj for the stained glass idea. Stained glass was harder to make than I thought but I love how everything turned out!
TFP Bluestreak (+ full body reference for him, Crosshairs, and Tarn)!
Heās the younger brother of Prowl, the Autobot SiC. And against his wishes, Bluestreak enlisted as soon as he could to help his brother. Although many consider him annoying and hard to keep up with, he was well-liked among the Autobots for his enthusiasm, good nature, and the sense of normalcy he brought with him. Despite Prowlās accident that led to him being comatose and the countless deaths the Autobots suffered, Bluestreak held his head up high and kept smiling, cheering people upā¦. Until his own untimely death.

Tarn hadn't expected to meet his sparkmate on some back water mud ball planet infested with organics, nor had he expected his Sparkmate to be one of the native inhabitants of said back water mudball planet.
On top of all that the last thing he expected was for her to be allied with the autobots. The thought was disquieting to say the least but he was not one to challenge the ways of fate so instead of brooding over his circumstance he opted to try and understand.
Hacking into the human internet was laughably easy as was digging up everything relating to his sparkmate. Thus he reseached and watched and planned.
The more tarn learned about his conjux to be the more he realized why things had been arranged this way.
It was poetic really, for megatrons most devoted to be destined for one so much like his master. His revelation was only confirmed when he spoke with lord megatron and learned his plan for the planet.
He would use the power of the omega lock to cyberform earth, transforming this pitiful rock into a new capital for the decepticon empire and molding its denizens into a new army.
Fates design was clear in his mind, his beloved would be reborn with the rest of her species and when she was it would be his duty to teach her the decepticon way.
With that in mind he began his preparations, planning lessons, preparing a room, and of course gathering ideas for the proper courting gifts. While the circumstances of their union was strange he would not disgrace his mate to be by not going through courting procedures properly.
As he worked he heard a familiar voice bitterly singing in his mind, pausing he chuckled quietly happy to hear her now that he could put an identity to it. He listened intently for a few minutes before she stopped and he began softly singing back, a new song, one of star crossed lovers come together despite being divided by circumstance.
He paused and waited until he heard her repeat the melody back to him before continuing onto the next verse.
They continued with the same cycle as his mind began to wander. What would his lovers new form be like? Would her colors be dark and regal or as vibrant as her personality? Would her optics maintain their golden shade? Would she maintain her lean build as a two wheeler or flier? Or would she become tall and sturdy as a tank or shuttle? Perhaps she'd be small and lean as a gun or tool of torment like his teammates. Maybe she'd become a minibot or even dare he say an insecticon.
That would certainly be something.
Tarn supposed it hardly mattered as long as that frame sported a decepticon badge, He would love her no matter her frame.
He couldn't wait to teach her, he'd take care to make music a large part of the curriculum as it was one of her biggest passions. Perhaps she could even make music for him as he snuffed out a traitors spark.
At the thought of such romance tarn could help but smile beneath his mask as he continued singing to her, his sparkmate, his miko.
[Scenario where Miko, once again, seeks off to where sheās not supposed to go, Jack and Raf follow to stop her, but they get stuck and run into Tarn. After a bit of chasing, he fire his cannon at a cliff, burying the two boys under the rubble and presumably killing them. Then itās just the human girl and the Decepticon]
Miko: You killed my friends!
Tarn: Letās talk about your friends, they didnāt have to be here.
Miko: Whaā¦
Tarn: They had their place and you took them away from it, you brought them here, you put them in danger.
Miko: They was trying to help me!
Tarn: They were, and this is the result. All of this, is your fault.
My Tfp Ravage design made for @vsphelix third chapter of their superb work, "Last to follow". It's loosely based on the Fall Of Cybertron unused design, modified in a Tfp style and to stand out as a deployer of Soundwave. (No nose of course for noses are a crime in Transformers: Prime. āThe "Prime" being optional šŖ¦ā)
The fic is such a masterpiece that I was compelled to draw at least a picture for each chapter. I'd have liked to draw much more, as there are so many impressive, haunting scenes, but, alas! not enough time.
This one's Another captivating chapter full of revelations and heart-wrenching events, and of course Helix's impeccable sense of characterization, beautiful style and fluid, thorough storytelling.
