Friendship for swd of three tumors. Please
modern au shenanigan for three tumors wherein they’re university students and PM seems to be the only normal one out of the three (wasn’t sure if you wanted it to be SWD-centric though lmao sorry)
Pei Ming woke up with a start - okay, that was a lie, he hasn’t been sleeping and he just got startled because the microwave started beeping. He opened the contraption and frowned at the store bought bland looking savory sandwich he heated up. He grabbed it anyway and took a big bite.
This proved to be the wrong decision as he gagged at the taste. Actually, he might want something sweet instead. Ah, but he already sent all the dessert packs to Pei Su who had an out of town field trip. Still…he wants something sweet. And cold. Maybe with something crunchy as well. Frozen cereal? Crepe? Ah! An ice cream would be the best!
He grabbed his keys and was about to head out to the convenience store (because what other shop would be open at two in the morning) when he thought of inviting his two best friends out as well. Ooh! This could be like some bonding thing with them! Just a bunch of university students trying to survive finals week.
With that in mind, he pressed on his first speed dial contact. Shi Wudu answered after two rings and he grinned. Looks like he’s not the only one not yet asleep.
“Don’t move the body. I’ll be there in five.”
“Wait - what? Oi, Shi Wudu! Shi Wudu!”
Pei Ming looked at his phone’s screen and saw that it was already hung up. What the hell was Shi Wudu talking about? Frowning, he decided to call again but it wouldn’t patch through anymore.
He sighed and dialed for Ling Wen instead. He wasn’t even able to give out any word when Ling Wen’s tired voice spoke.
“Do you prefer to bury, to light up, or to make it completely disappear immediately?”
“You’re right. We have to be practical. I’m bringing the chemicals to decompose the body asap. See you.”
And then there was a click to signify that the call had ended. Pei Ming sat in front of his apartment’s door in daze.
Five minutes later, Shi Wudu barges in his place with a determined look. He doesn’t even ask where the university student government president got a spare key. He had no idea how to answer his, “Where’s the body we need to dispose of?” question. And he didn’t even have the chance to answer it when his windows slammed open and Ling Wen entered through it. (“My unit is in the fifth floor!” “I have three types of chemical mixes here. You can choose.” “Fifth floor!”)
Pei Ming felt like crying at the nonchalant questions of body disposal from his best friends. God, he only wanted his ice cream night out.
