Watched a video by @chefjonkung earlier this evening, thinking I have never considered dashi miso and pumpkin soup before... . Then I added it to my dinner plan because it looked (and sounded) that good. Dinner time! . The chicken is a simple prep, rubbed with fresh crushed garlic, coarse ground pepper, and sea salt. Fresh sliced cucumbers and snow peas. Simple steamed sticky rice (sweet rice). . @hatsofmatt made his own batch of nam jim because he loves it. I bet you never had this before.... Having my usual @streitsmatzos Jewish split pea soup again, this time cooked with Celtuce and fish tofu which can be found at your local Asian grocery store. Celtuce is interesting because it has a nutty and quite smokey aftertaste, super unique but watch out for the fibers. Nothing good ever comes without a catch.
