Most people don’t realize how normalized the lower realms have become.
The obsession with money, lust, power, attention, validation, it’s all the bottom of the ladder. The entry level of consciousness, and yet it’s treated like the whole point of living.
Head of a Capricorn, Egypt, 1,000 - 650 BC. Bronze, Gold.
Capricorn is not just the climber...
Everyone talks about Capricorn like we’re only built for ambition, for status, for money, for leadership. As if we were born already knowing how to climb. As if the mountain itself handed us a map. They forget what kind of creature Capricorn actually is. The Sea-Goat. Saturn doesn’t crown Capricorn. Saturn tests Capricorn. Over and over. Lesson after lesson. Delay after delay. Weight after weight. We are capable of holding consequence. Saturn piles experience on us until illusion collapses. Until shortcuts stop working. Until the ego burns out. The goat climbs, yes but only because it has already drowned and learned how to breathe underwater. Modern astrology skips this and reduces us to “boss energy.” Capricorn is deeply mystical. We are ruled by the planet of karma. Saturn governs thresholds. Initiations. The slow violence of reality that forces the soul to mature or break. We don’t become powerful because we want to. We become powerful because Saturn will not stop until we are honest with ourselves.
Some connections aren’t meant to last, only to reveal.
Illumination.
Should I step on your ego’s spine
and cause some kind of apocalypse
