April 2024 weekly spreads in my Hobonichi
[31.10.20] October Moments
Meant to post this in October but I forgot to queue it haha anyway I finally finished my embroidery project which took me months to finish, mostly because of my overall lack of motivation. But hey, small wins I guess. Also, Covid cases here in Switzerland are steadily rising which means no onsite classes until further notice and masks are mandatory basically everywhere but other than that, there will be no lockdowns (at least not yet) which a lot of European countries are doing right now. Hopefully, it will all get better just in time for the holidays *fingers crossed*. Hope y’all are safe wherever you are.
[23.11.20] NOVEMBER SPREAD
First and second week of November on my bujo. Obssessing over the brown aesthetic lately.
[31.12.20] December Days
I know it’s already late but I just wanted to share some December 2020 memories and weekly spreads. That month was so hectic for two main reasons, first I had a ton of school deadlines which was about 4 papers plus 3 more deadlines on January so basically no time for vacation. And second, in true killjoy fashion, miss rona decided to infect more people forcing the government to make stricter restrictions so basically Christmas markets are definitely out of the picture which is definitely such a bummer.
On a more serious note I definitely felt the blues this holiday season as much as I tried to be positive and cheery. It just feels so different. There’s just this sad aura all around, I guess that’s just how it is.
[23.06.20] LIFE LATELY
This month is dedicated to balancing my new found hobby of embroidery and finishing my school deadlines and prepping for exams. On the bright side, Covid measures have been easing up since the end of May so shops and restaurants are finally open again given that they practice social distancing measures. We’ve been enjoying the weather also and we go to the lake and get some sun as much as we can. It’s the first time I’ll spend summer in Switzerland so I’m so much looking forward to live my aesthetically pleasing, sound of music realness, Swiss summer fantasy.
[29.09.20] SEPTEMBER STORIES
Autumn is finally here which means it’s time to swap those jean shorts for some cozy layers. I actually don’t mind the cooler temperatures but here it’s more rainy and gloomy which makes it even more colder and a bit of a hassle to go outside. Also, I finally got myself a haircut and it’s shorter than preferred but I’m kind of digging the medium length hair vibe. In other news, school already started and this semester is fully loaded with modules which means I have a lot of deliverables coming up. Safe to say my anxiety is again through the roof but I guess I’m managing. Baby steps.
[25.01.21] January Rambles
Finally finished the third semester which felt like two semesters at the same time. Lots of eye rolling and ranting happened in the past few months which most of the time tested my level of patience and tolerance with people. I think this semi-lockdown/not being able to socialize has made me even more of an introvert.
In other news, it’s a new year, which means a glimmer of hope is in the air. Most people have already announced their resolutions and I’m still trying to figure out what mine are. Usually I do make them but somehow I have no motivation to do so. I don’t know, I guess I’m just in a weird headspace right now.
[23.10.20] Loaded.
Basically drowning in literature and research journals lately which I guess is normal for master studies. Not gonna lie group works really annoy the hell out of me sometimes. It’s just hard when there are a lot of different ideas or lack thereof. Or supposed to be short meetings that turns our longer than needed because people are unprepared. Or last minute submission because no one follows the deadlines. I don’t know, just maybe expected some more competent people since we’re at a “masters level” or maybe I just have too much expectations in general. But I mean come on, step your pussy up a bit you know what I mean? I mean we don’t need to pass a super perfect project to get the highest score possible or whatever, I just don’t want to submit a steaming hot pile of garbage :)
