When he gently puts his hand on the right side of his stomach, the skin is burning hot and feels rugged underneath his fingertips, and when he lifts the cover to look he sees a dark patch there, about the size of his palm.

He freezes, has to close his eyes for a moment.

Surely, it can’t be, not this soon?

But when he looks again, he’s sure.

He’s gotten a mark. He’s only been eighteen for about a month, haven’t even had the time to start worrying about it yet.

Summary:

In Altea City, home of superheroes and villains, Lance McClain (Blue Wave) is your everyday supervillain trying to live his life stealing, having a part-time job as a waiter and rescuing animals from the Galaxy Garrison Centre of Investigation, with his partners in crime Pidge Gunderson (Green Glinch) and Hunk Garrett (Yellow, just Yellow). All of this while trying not to get arrested by Voltron, the most famous team of superheroes.

Lance’s life was relatively simple, but it got complicated when his villainous team decided to build a Death Ray to rob a bank that ended not being a Death Ray.

Long short story: the Ray hit Takashi Shirogane AKA Black Lightning AKA the leader of Voltron, the Death Ray was actually a Love Ray, the hero fell in love with Lance and all got really complicated.

Also there was something shady going on in the city.
