I like to take cookies to work, especially when I’m experimenting with new flavors (last week was strawberry rose cookies).
When one of my coworkers has a birthday I ask if they have a request.
This one kid has the strangest flavor ideas because he has no understanding of baking, just things he likes. I love that his requests make me have to sit down and think how would I do that?
This year’s birthday request is:
Root Beer Cookies
mind you the last time they spoke she told him to his face she didn’t approve of their friendship
I said I wasn't going to commit to this rewatch or get emotional or anything, but an Exception had to be made for Tiny, Pouty Baby Darius the Normal Kid.
I love my teenager to pieces.
Two authors they thought were the same person:
Karl May and Karl Marx
Two bands they always mixed up:
Beastie Boys and Backstreet Boys
Also they always understood Bohemian Rhapsody like this and thought Freddie Mercury’s mum had been pretty wild:
Mama (…) just killed a man

so we found out today that someone stole our lawn mower.
me: (annoyed because who has 300 dollars to spend on a new one? not my family) ugh i hope it explodes on whoever stole it.
me: (sees max) except not because that could seriously injure them.
max: well, you know what? i hope that one day they’re just happily riding a bike on the sidewalk and looking down at their pedals when BANG! they run into the lawnmower handle and knock out their tooth.
me: isn’t that what happened to you when you were three?
max: yes, so i know how bad it hurts. they deserve it.
