This was on my (unaccomplished) reading list thanks to Chan Gordon at @captainsbookshelf. Though not all of these works are from the mountain region, it seems that many of these early playwrites reflect an appreciation for land and lineage. “When Witches Ride” almost felt like a Yeatsian single act play. It also includes a Thomas Wolfe work. Good reading and something I’ll come back to when school lets out. Fine condition Review copy of the first edition.
