I watched the mlb movie and caught up w the show so I got au brainrot again 💀 My first post was more silly and had smaller snippets but somehow I got carried away and ended up drawing a lot more than the first time around. I’ll post it in parts tho so I don’t overload one post 🙏

In short, Tim -> likes Conner…but is fond of Superboy? Kon -> likes Robin, but has gotten to know Tim a lot better.

And the timeline/world for this au is a big mishmash of 90s comics/ROTS movie/TT03/2000s comics and headcanons, so in summary for backstory for this post especially:

Superboy - during Superman’s death, he was created at Cadmus (w funding from Lex) and told he was Superman’s clone, even if he is a lot younger and different. Like the comics/my headcanon, he is fascinated by the celebrity life and Lex who promised him he’d be as great as Superman, assigned him Rex Leech who would be his personal agent/pr manager/etc. Lex was kind of like…his funder and sponsor that promoted him as the guy that would give new hope in Supermans absence.

Flash forward to Superman’s return, he decides to go on a world tour/become disillusioned with celebrity life until Clark comes and takes him to the farm and suggests he lives as Conner Kent to get away from the likes of people like Lex and Rex lol. So he’s not connected to them by contract anymore but he will do things out of obligation (like being a bodyguard at a party)

In this au, Lex doesn’t know Conner is Superboy either, and he hasn’t told Kon to what extent he was involved in Kon’s creation (yet…) but he’s hinted at it before

Tim - in this au, he’s also been operating as Robin for a longer time but is recently dealing with also becoming Tim Drake-Wayne and preparing to become the possible successor to Bruce Wayne’s company so that’s why he’s at this fancy party 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ I haven’t quite decided how much of his backstory to adapt to this au specifically but he becomes Robin in a similar way as his debut with becoming Robin bc he sees that Batman is lost without one and Batman needs a Robin. By the time this au starts he’s gone to different schools and I guess is going to a new one where Conner is also attending? Also his parents are now dead in this 😔 and he’s very secretive compared to Superboy and is the one that attaches more weight to a secret identity

they somehow go to the same school idk don’t worry about it i throw logic out the window in this regard for my silly lovesquare shenanigans 🫡 the World building isn’t the main focus it’s just a backdrop to their dynamic anyways . Here. Take my cringe.

If we go with the idea that Kryptonians live longer than humans we could have a Frieren-like Tim/Kon story where Tim has been dead for a long time, but Kon is just now realizing that the other man loved him. So now Tim is just haunting the narrative in little ways as Kon continues his life as a Superhero.

Day 2 Prompt: Sirens and Promises

Clex and TimKon AU in a multiverse? How about that?

Would this be a meeting between Conner and a Conner from a parallel universe, and what is the difference between this Conner and Prime Earth Conner? Not much, more about the people around him who are different.

PE!Conner talking to the Other!Conner It's strange that he refers Clark as pop, AND ON TOP OF THAT he refers Lex as DAD!

And PE!Conner is like: "I know they're biologically our parents, but isn't that kind of weird?"

While Another!Conner: "Why would it be weird? They're our parents."

PE!Conner: "Yes, but it's not like we were made with that intention, it was to be a Superman clone."

A!Conner: "What? That doesn't make sense. First of all, a clone wouldn't be us, it would have to be a being with 100% of Pop's DNA. We only have 50%, like any child, like our brother Jon."

PE!Conner: "... That is true. But I still don't know if I should treat Jon as a half-brother or a nephew actually."

A!Conner: "Why would you treat him like a nephew?!"

PE!Conner: "I-I mean, I don't want to make Clark uncomfortable! He didn't consent to my existence in the first place!"

A!Conner: "WHAT?!"

And in this conversation PE!Conner discovers that Another!Conner is a son of DIVORCED PARENTS! Lex and Clark were married! While Another!Conner is trying to understand how Lex Luthor, who hates Superman so much in Prime Earth, decided to mix his DNA with his arch-enemy to make a "clone"?! The same Lex who in Prime Earth is always complaining that there are too many aliens on Earth? And he goes there and makes another one?!

Prime Earth Conner is shocked, even more shocked how it makes more sense that Lex is a bitter ex in his actions than what he actually is in his universe...

And it gets even more bizarre when Another!Conner reveals that Lois was actually Luthor's ex-girlfriend from back in college. He married Clark, they divorced, and Clark married Lois later and they had a son. Lex was already married with other children, but he became bitter when he learned that his exes were in a relationship. It's a mess. It could be a soap opera.

On the other hand, bizarrely, PE!Conner is a little jealous, because clearly Anothed!Conner has a much better and easier relationship with Clark than he did. And even with Lex. Cuz this Conner was made by the love that Lex and Clark had for each other. They planned Conner because they wanted a family. Then they became enemies after and things got weird for Conner, but they always try not to involve their child in their problems, which is difficult, but they still try.

PE!Conner born to be Super, born to not have a civilian life. Another!Conner was born to be the son of a rich businessman and a cute journalist. Him becoming Superboy was against both his parents' wishes, again, they didn't want their son involved in their mess.

On the other hand, Another!Conner is jealous of the relationship PE!Conner has with Tim. Prime Earth Tim is a vigilante, is a superhero, working side by side with Conner. They are best friends who ended up falling in love.

In your case, Tim is your enemy. He gives the heroes trouble with his crazy plans, always one step ahead. And Another!Conner still madly in love with him.

Maybe if the crazy Tim in his world didn't return his feelings, Anothed!Conner could have gotten over it at some point. But Tim is obsessed with him, and Conner can't resist.

He wished things were simpler, he wished the Batman of his world was like the one on Prime Earth, at least it would be a better model for Tim to look up to.

They have known each other since they were little, like Damian and Jon on Prime Earth, thanks to the closeness between Lex and the Drakes. They were each other's first love, something quite innocent at the time.

Now for an excerpt from a fic i’m cooking up when i have the motivation BAHAHAH

In ancient times, the land lay covered in forests, where, from ages long past, dwelt the spirits of the gods. Back then, man and beast lived in harmony, but as time went by, most of the great forests were destroyed. Those that remained were guarded by gigantic beasts… who owed their allegiance to the Great Forest Spirit, for those were the days of gods and demons.

Trees cracked, and fell as a shadowy giant beast ran the forest down. The forest decayed under its feet, as it stomped. A young boy rode a sheer white elk through the forest, his clothes blue and hair in a bun atop his head. Eventually he made it to a clearing, and a dirt road, he jumped off the elk and onto stones holding up a hill to create a wall against it. The boy called for his elk commanding him to run up a ramp next to the wall.

“Wolf, come on boy.” He commanded as the Elk ran next to him he used his bow to hop back on with ease. He rode down the path before running into his little brother and two other girls from their village. He shouted to them and his little brother smiled back

“Conner!” He waved wide

“There’s something strange going on. You have to hurry.” He commanded the three kids, sliding to a stop on Wolf in front of them to stop them in their tracks “The wise woman wants everyone back to the village at once.”

“We just came from J’onn.” His little brother said

“Did he see something?” Conner questioned as Wolf huffed and shook his head

“Yes, in the forest. Something’s wrong!” Jon said

“The birds have all gone!” One of the girls said

“And the animals too!” the second girl said

“Ill go to the watchtower with J’onn. You three go back to the village, and be quick about it.” Wolf huffed as he pulled on the raines as they ran past the girls and toward the watchtower.

“Be careful!” Jon yelled back to Conner as he rode down the path toward the watchtower.

Timkon soulmates AU slow burn, except it’s only a slow burn because Kon is a fuckin idiot and forgets that humans often use a shortened version of their given name.

And so his wrist says “Timothy” and obviously that can not be Robin because Robin’s name is Tim, not Timothy. So he never says anything, because he doesn’t even know any Timothys, and he figures he’ll just. Know it when he sees it, or something. And of course Tim never says anything either, because when he confessed to Kon his real name- when he removed his mask and introduced himself as Tim- Kon did nothing. Didn’t even blink. So Tim figures the small script on his wrist must be a mistake- or maybe there’s some other Kon out there, because why the fuck didn’t Kon make a move??

And so time passes and still Kon’s never even met a fucking Timothy- he’s beginning to think they don’t even exist- until eventually Tim catches a glance of Kon’s bare wrist, and sees his own goddamn fucking name there- so he pulls up his own sleeve and shows Kon his own name printed clearly on Tim’s smooth, pale skin-

And Kon just blinks because “That makes no sense, I’m your soulmate but you’re not mine??” and Tim just blinks back because… “Kon, my given name is Timothy.” And Kon just stares stupidly back at Tim for much too long, his eyes comically wide as it all falls into place. And there’s a reason that Tim is the one being mentored by the world’s greatest detective and not him, because duh- how did he not put all this together before?

And before he can even begin to start explaining himself or start apologizing or start beating himself up- Tim is surging forward, kissing him so hard it damn near hurts- but it doesn’t, it doesn’t because this is Tim- his Tim, his Timothy, his soulmate-

And then Tim is laughing against his mouth and Kon is laughing too, because god they’re both so stupid. So so stupid.

But they have eachother now. Despite all odds- despite the fact that they’re both broken and all kinds of fucked up, and despite the fact that a million things should’ve kept them apart but Tim’s goddamn name shouldn’t have been one of them- despite all of it they’re together. So they’re stupid together, stupid and already so impossibly in love. And maybe that’s why Kon never thought too hard about Tim’s name, never considered the possibility- because it would’ve hurt too much to have that small sliver of hope, only to have it taken away. Because he’s been smitten with his little birdie for far longer than he’d ever care to admit- beginning back when Tim first spoke his own name and Kon’s heart had leaped and then crashed back down, his mood souring when the name didn’t continue. When it was so close to Timothy but not quite there.

And really, his infatuation probably began much before than anyway.

And as Tim’s head falls onto Kon’s shoulder as they cling to eachother so tightly that one might think the world is about to come crashing down around them- Kon can’t help but think that the universe was perfectly right. They paired the two biggest idiots together, both of them ridiculously dumb in their own ways. They’re both hurting and confused, but they’re doing their best. They always have been.

And now they have eachother. They always have, but now it gets to be real.
