Play stuffed animals defending your sleeping children from Monsters and Nightmares in this new roleplaying game powered by TinyD6!
“Look Jessie, I know you hate me for leaving, but I have to go back. I'm still Andy's toy. Well, if you knew him, you'd understand.” - Woody, Toy Story 2
WunderWerks is proud to present Nighty Knights, the RPG! Using the license of the TinyD6 minimalist roleplaying system!
Using this game you play stuffed animals, dolls, and action figures defending your sleeping human children from monsters and nightmares. Play gruff stuffed dogs, mysterious black cats, energetic tigers, proud space rangers, determined penguins, good monsters, or any type of plush toy you can imagine. Explore the dark and dangerous basement, creep into the creepy attic, visit the glorious metropolis of Underbed, or adventure in the Dreamlands all while making sure your child is safe from evil monsters and nightmares that want to suck the happiness out of their lives.
Ben was on Victory Condition Gaming talking about Nighty Knights. The video is 22 minutes long. The first 5 to 10 minutes are focused on the game and the contents of the campaign, but you can listen to the whole thing if you want.

Character creation is simple, fast, and exciting. Based on the exciting stories your Game Master is going to tell, you pick a child to protect, your Knight’s Heritage, a few Traits that each grant a single benefit, and you're done!
Then you defend, explore, and adventure in the whimsical setting of Underbed and the Dreamlands. This is one of the new TinyD6 Settings using the TinyD6 systems.

Sometimes as the GM, you don't have time to plot lengthy, detailed worlds, but you want that experience. Well, we've got your back, and that support comes in the form of micro-verses and our signature setting, Underbed and the Dreamlands!
Micro-verses are short settings filled with adventure hooks, and designed to put your adventures and campaigns into high action-adventure.
Our goal is to fund a softcover edition, a limited number of hardcover collector’s editions, the Nighty Knights dice, Storage Bag, GM Screen, and maybe a few Plush Animals. We’ve planned several stretch goals which will increase page count, add more art, and add more options and traits. All of our goals will provide you with more fun and engaging Nighty Knights content!
The writing for Underbed and the Dreamlands is being handled by top industry talent. We're set on paying all our contributors well, and our goal reflects our commitment to an ethical pay rate for our writers, artists, and team members.
We also plan on filling the book with Knights, Monsters, and Nightmares! All new art created by the talented Cynthia Williams. Thus, our goal reflects the costs inherent in these design choices.

Nighty Knights uses TinyD6: a simple, fast, and dynamic rule set to handle actions. The game uses up to three six-sided dice as part of action resolution.
If you roll a "5" or "6" on a die, your check succeeds. Most checks are made with two dice. However, if you are deemed to have "advantage" on a roll, you gain a third die to roll. If you have disadvantage, you lose a die (rolling only a single die).
Characters are made quickly and easily. You will select a Child to protect, a Heritage (for example, Bear, Doll, Good Monster), three traits, write down some basic information, and you are ready to play!

Underbed and the Dreamlands is the fantastic setting for Nighty Knights. Conceived by Ben Woerner, it is a world much like our own, except toys and stuffed animals come alive when humans are asleep or away. You can travel into the dreams of humans or to fantastic settings like the wondrous city of Underbed. It exists under all the beds, or in the closets, or shadowy corners near a sleeping child. You can visit the Night Market, the great Citadel of the Order of the Nighty Knights, or venture deep into the Darkness, the stronghold of monsters and Nightmares.
Your knights will face off against Ghastly Ghosts, the Thing from the Sewers, the Boogie Man, Not Your Parents, and many more monsters and nightmares. Fight a pitched battle under the living room couch, organize the other toys to come to the defense of your child, or explore deep into the Dreamlands to recover lost dreams of your child.

Micro-settings are unique, small universes that exist in alternate dimensions adjacent to the Underbed! They are specifically designed to be used as a tool, resource, or spring-board for your own campaigns.
Micro-settings are short, 4-8 page high-level settings, designed to provide an evocative framework for each GM to launch their own variation and home campaign from.
Our micro-setting authors are a mix of industry veterans and new voices, each bringing a unique aspect to Nighty Knights.
