i know that the tone tag /pos means positive but i keep reading it as /piece of shit and it recontextualizes the whole sentence like thanks for telling me you want my art to be your dead wife but why are you being a little imp about it lmao

Everyone who uses tone tags gets a giant kiss on the mouth
This no you/your user needs tone tags
wait a minute
is /s meaning sarcasm or serious?
cause I’ve always read it as sarcasm
but someone else just said it meant serious
Tonetags I made up because they're amazing and we should use them
/vs: vocal stim
/dnr: do not reply
/h: need help (to answer a question or get emotional support)
/st: shower thought
just to let you all know smth about me, im pretty bad at intentions in general, like stating my true intent with someone or deciphering someones intent with me xP if you can, please clarify things that might be hard for me to decipher/use tone tags okay thanks love you all ^v^
I always understood /hj and /jt as "i'm saying this playfully (whether for coping reasons or not) but also i'm not lying" but /jt is more understandable so I've been using /jt in place of /hj (the exact meaning of "half joking" was also always confusing to me)
{I would love to chat and maybe rp but I'm not online enough to know and understand tone indicators >.< could you give me like a list and their meanings?)
ooc: of course!!
i'll just explain the ones i use most of the time since if i said all of them, we would be here all day xD
so lets start
/j, /hj and /srs for jokes, half jokes and serious stuff respectively
/silly for silly stuff
/ooc for out of character stuff, and /in-ch or /in-character for things in-character
/pos for positive
/neg for negative
/vpos and /vneg for very positive and very negative respectively
and that's pretty much it, you can probably google others if you need to use one that i didn't mention :3
