here's my attempt to get Torie! I would've drawn, but I don't have access to paper 🥲

Maestro liked Root, don't get him wrong. There are some times though that he can be a little... much. Especially when Apple's playing with him.

Root didn't like Maestro very much. Apple spent a lot of time with him ever since she got him, not leaving much time for her own twin.

"Root? Hey, I was asking you a question!"

The squirrel broke his glare at the orange wyrm on his sister's head. "Huh?"

Apple frowned. "Maestro didn't do anything wrong, why do you keep looking at him like that?"

He shook his head. "N-no reason. Come on, you promised we could play hide and seek!"

"Only if Maestro can join!"

"...fine," he relented.

She grinned. "Good! You hide first, we'll count!"

He made sure she faced the wall before darting away. He went straight for Ivory and Kin's room and scrambled under the latter's bed. Maestro might lead Apple to him so any hiding spot is pointless, but he didn't care right now.

An idea popped into his head suddenly. What if he got his own wyrm?! He could use it to make Apple jealous! Yeah, see how she feels about not being able to spend time with him because he's busy with it instead!

As if on cue, a small head poked out from the top of the bed. It vanished for a second before a body fell off the bed behind it. He widened his eyes excitedly. However this little wyrm got into the house didn't matter. It scampered over to him, sat down, and stared up into his eyes.

Apple is gonna be so jealous now that he has someone else to spend time with!
