Deforestation, the depletion of forests and other wild flora in woodlands, for industrial purposes, has significant effects on the weather. Deforestation removes the ability of the forest to sequester carbon, absorb sunlight, process water and block the wind.Natural disasters abound through typhoons, hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, and drought. We are destroying our home and consequently genocide. How You Can Get Involved Either by yourself, with a partner or with a team; touch 100 Trees over the three days of the weekend. Take a few selfies to highlight some of the trees you touch. Hug the trees, touch the trees, and maintain the contact with the trees for at least one minute. Intentionally giving love to the tree like you would give love to someone important to you. Listen to the tree. Love the tree as you would enjoy someone giving you love.
