I know that this isn’t a nsfw blog but I need a scientific breakdown. How would Ghidorah like smash? Does he have the appendages? The necessary equipment to do such a thing? Does Rodan even have an appendage? Does Ghidorah species even mate sexually?
I will answer this from an speculatory biology viewpoint, but still, if anybody feels like talking about mating/reproduction (even if it for fictional monsters) it's not their cup of tea, then ignore this post, I will tag it as "kaiju mating" and "touchy subject" so, blacklist the tag if you want to avoid this post or similar one in the future.
Besides that, I'm gonna try and dance around the sensors, so the language may sound funny. I for one believe it's ridiculous you can't mention things by their name even when you're speaking about biology, but the algorithm makes no distinction, so there's nothing than can be done :B

I kinda enjoy whatever headcanon authors come with for their stories, since it usually serves a purpose: for example, I have seen headcanons where Ghido does not have any reproductive system whatsoever and it works to make them feel more "alien" like (and it would make more sense if you go with the "artificial creature" origin story).
My personal one? Ghido is an intersexual individual (aka, they have both set of organs), and theoretically could reproduce on their own (asexual reproduction), they just haven't had a reason yet to try and make lil' copies of themselves haha
I like this one since it goes nicely with my fav origin story for them as being a frankenstein like creature made out of regular individuals from a normal species. Now, in real life such creature wouldn't be able to produce viable offspring, or they simply would be infertile (even with both sets of organs, the mutated mess inside would render them useless). In fact, there's a good chance they wouldn't even be able to mate 😕
BUT this is fandom territory and like any deranged stan, I love to ignore reality and daydream of them forming a cute family with Rodan... somehow, so buckle up:
How Ghido's genitalia looks like: the sky is the limit (?), again it would depend on what works best for each story. I subscribe to the "they're very snake coded" and thus, Ghido would have your regular snake set (expect is the two versions): two male appendages + hemiclitores (don't think the censor can track this one lol), and one single opening/egg sack. Also, like many reptiles, there's a chance that both sets have spikes, but it's not supposed to be painful: they act like a "lock and key" mechanism to kept a potential mate from moving away before they can finish. I know some people in monsterf*cker fandoms like to use this concept in a "if you move it will wreck your insides, blood everywhere!!", but it's more like... you physically cannot get it out until it relaxes again, lol that's it~
I personally find it amusing to imagine them having a very alien-looking set, still snake-like but well... alien/eldritch (something not even Lovecraft himself could come up with), so... our brave birb would be like: "yeah, I'm not sure I can put that on my body". I don't know if you had seen one little comic of Superman and Lois lane finding out that Clark is not that human below the waist, so yeah, pretty much that but in kaiju version. 😂😂
As for Rodan, there's like two factions at war: A) he's more bird than lizard and thus, he does not have a male appendage (about 97% of male birds don't have one) and he would reproduce only through a "cloacal kiss" (believe it or not, that's how it's called). I personally don't like this one... but that's because I still have a bad aftertaste from a fic that used this headcanon :/
The other one, B) is that he's more lizard than bird (at least on this aspect) and then he does have one or two, and it's probably spiky (Rodan's body is spiky anyways? so it tracks...). Again, it would depend of the story and obvs if you're trying to write/draw regular risqué yaoi with them, then this path is the easiest one/more familiar.
Fun fact about most bird and reptiles, and even fish or amphibians: in males, their family jewels are inside their bodies. Actually, mammals are the weird ones since we're the only group who need to have them outside the main body to avoid trouble with internal heat damaging the male reproductive cells 🤓 so, I suppose this also applies to Ghido... Rodan however could be an exception to this rule since his body is already insanely hot... but who knows how the biology of a giant magma pterosaur would work?
As for how these two could mate, I dunno... with lots of practice and being veeery careful? (Ghido would squeeze their poor boyfriend the first 10 times as they tried to maneuver around, I'm sure of that).
🚨WARNING: talk about eggs/reproduction. It's minimal, and only my silly headcanons on how they can have kids, but I will leave that division just in case.
I like to headcanon Ghido as the "mama"; aka, the one who lays the eggs or does the live birth. I like the concept of a viviparous Ghidorah tho, purely for the amusement of seeing a very confused/horrified Rodan and because a space fearing kaiju would benefit more from that system than a regular nest with eggs). Ghido as the mama would also make more "sense" if you go with the "intersexual" alien headcanon...
BUT Rodan laying a giant egg Kiwi style is so funny I can't get myself to pass it up hahaha 🤣🤣🤣 specially if he pulls a Morticia and looks somewhat normal (just more round?) and pretty calm, and a literal second later the poor guy is sitting atop an EGG™ nearly as big as him lol is so silly, I'm sorry haha

It could be that Rodan's species is asexual too, or that kaijus in general can pull that up if their population is very low (kinda like the Clownfish!) or... there's also the body horror/eldritch route: Ghido can alter the biology of creatures he mates with (since there's only of them, their organism came up with a way to engage in reproductive parasitism to make more Ghidos), akin to a virus... (we don't think of the implications 💀 and just enjoy the Rodorah babies and hope the birb is ok). I f*cking hate with a passion Aliens/chestbursters so, I'm more inclined of see it as Ghidorah making Rodan more... Ghido-like, so he becomes compatible enough to reproduce with them, without risk.
I want do a whole separated thing to talk about my headcanons for how they will deal with the pregnancy, and the later incubation of the eggs or live young~ I know, however, that some people feel icky about those topics due to trauma, etc... so I don't know :/
Finally, all of this is obviously a complete impossibility by canon standards, and even the most permisive laws of real-life biology, but hey!, kaijus themselves are a biological impossibility (they size/weight vs the atmospheric pressure would kill them instantly/ they would requiere ridiculous amounts of energy to function). So, there's no harm on making shit up, literally haha
