Yesterday we had a great trail cleanup and forage walk. Everyone that showed up collectively picked up 96 pounds of trash! It’s crazy that there was that much there but I’m glad we did our part to help clean up this beautiful park. Learn how to identify wild invasive plant species and medicinal mushrooms. *we are not allowed to PICK any plants on state land* We will also do our part to clean up the forest! CL3ANUP | On Tuesday, World Environment Day 🌎, we did a full cleanup of the shoreline and campsite at #CatLake. We found a ton of cans and bottles, a hipster mirror, frisbees, balls, tent poles, ropes, plastic bags, wrappers, straws and the craziest thing was one of those plastic containers you pee in at the doctors...#whyyougottabringthatcamping?!
