Something I really want to see in Steven Universe Future is Gems exploring gender, seeing gems outside of Steven's fusions using "He" or "They"...

And tbh Freckle Lapis feels like a perfect canidate for me given her "How can it suddenly be wrong" line :-)

HUMAN AU!

Mtf lapis is dating peridot and are really close they end up doing the nasty and lapis says it's fine not to use a condom but a few weeks later peridot is saying she is pregnant. peridots mother never liked lapis to start with and after this she doesn't want her anywhere near peridot. peridot is mad at lapis but still has a spot for her in her heart when the baby is born lapis goes to the hospital but peridots mother kicks her out of the room but later on peridot allows her in the room lapis who is a upcoming artist and is living comfortably and always tries her best at being a mother for her child but always gets pushed away by peridots mother she also sends people to find lapis and ruin her work and sabotage lapis, soon lapis finds out about a birthday party for her childs first birthday and tries to come but soon gets kicked out by peridots mother she finally tells her off saying she has done everything to help both peridot and her child and wants nothing but the best for them and all she is doing is hurting peridot and the baby

I wanted to make this a story but im really lazy and i most likey wont ever finish it based off this song
