Being trans mlm can be its own kind of experience. You have to fight through so much dysphoria, transphobia, and homophobia, inside and out. Loving men can be really complicated and very few people know or understand. It can feel really isolating. I always loved mlm media with a deep longing I couldn't understand, but I never thought it could be me. I'm trans. I still don't know of any trans mlm films, the only mainstream trans mlm character I know of is in "Tales of the City" on Netflix. It's strange, complicated, and hard. The world will try to tear you down and gaslight you.

But it's not all bad. There's nothing quite like reclaiming love you were never supposed to have in a body you were never supposed to have. You being yourself and loving as yourself against all odds. The fight makes it that much more meaningful in the end. We're more real than the transphobes could ever know.
