My goal for last Saturday’s Olympic Tri was to improve my cycling time. Last year I did the Sprint distance of this race, and wasn’t feeling that prepared and hadn’t been sticking to my training as much. My average speed was about 13.5 mph. . This year, the cycling course was 8 miles longer, and my average speed was 16.5 mph. Plus, I felt faster and much less fatigued, and even passed a few people which never happens on the cycle leg. . I attribute my performance to sticking to my @tridotsystem training plan. This was my first official race since starting that plan, and I was super excited to see my progress. . . . #triathlon #triathlete #runner #swimmer #cycling #run #tridotambassador #training #cyclinglife #cyclinggirl #tri #olympictriathlon #fitness #cardio #medalmonday #trilife (at Boulder, Colorado) https://www.instagram.com/yesthatmaria/p/ByQCznNJXzW/?igshid=e41dzbsg3if0
