since i made this poll where i breifly talked about my opinion on cassandra’s sexual identity im gonna go ahead and try to explain fully how i view it personally

cass is definitely leans more female in terms of her attraction just based off of the interactions with her male love interests. she never really connects with them the way that she does with women, and i feel most of the reason she gets with men is because she feels thats just what she’s supposed to do as a woman. her male relationships rarely go past just a kiss or two(from what ive read) and if anything she seems to like the attention more than the romantic aspect

her relationship with conner strikes me personally more of a forced crush that you(at least i) would have in elementary school because you feel like you have to have one more than a genuine romantic attraction. she can tell kon likes her, or at least finds her attractive, and leans into that attention.

i feel if she did have a romantic relationship it would be sapphic in nature due to the clear deeper connections she forms with women. the most obvious example i can use is her relationship with stephanie brown

realistically though i dont think she would actually take the time to settle down and get with somebody officially, she’s much more focused on her mission

i have this similar opinion with batman, where i have a hard time seeing him ever actually settling down(like father like daughter), but the difference is i also dont think cass would do situationships, one night stands, or anything really like that.

to me if there was a label it would lie somewhere around lesbian and asexual(maybe even aromantic)

that being said i think the reason she would be unlabeled would be because she wouldnt think about it unless provoked and even then i think actually sitting there and figuring out a label would seem like a waste of time to her

she doesn’t need added unnecessary stress about identity
