AHHHH! THEY LOOK SO GOOD!
Alastor: Obviously, I will be the downfall of this Hotel.
Sir Pentious: *tries to blow up the Hotel*
Von Eldritches: *exist*
Valentino: *exists*
Vox: *exists*
Velvet: *exists*
Lucifer: *exists*
Alastor, about to kill a bitch or ten: I said that I would be the one to end this hotel, thank you very much.
Don’t mess with the witch (more on my Instagram: Maplemess)
I wanted to do a few more of those expressions, so I threw a few onto my vampire ocs from my one story. Couldn’t decide if I liked it colored or not.
God knows what they’re witnessing, but Kelly’s smile belies murder and impending destruction
Hello! So I saw earlier an ask you answered about Vox possibly snapping and becoming the main villain as opposed to becoming sort of on the side of the Hazbins. I was wondering what you thought of the idea of Vox snapping from his (heavily implied) abusive relationship with Val and straight up betraying him? Whether he betrays him and does one of those “villain slightly helps the protags because their goals aligned for one scene” or just goes full-on Main Villain like you said, I couldn’t say, but I think the option overall would be a really cool arc for his character and relationship with Val. Thoughts?
I want to see it.
I don’t particularly think that it is overly likely, but I want to see it. Right now, Vivz and co are trying very hard to present the Triple V as a united group. And it’s working, based on the existence of that nickname alone.
However, it would hardly be the first time a seemingly solid group splits due to internal conflicts.
Domestic abuse is also a complicated topic and while I doubt hazbin will approach it with the respect and nuance it deserves, maybe they will. I imagine how the helluva domestic issues are eventually resolved will give us an idea of how things will go in hazbin in regards to that.
I mention this because Valentino is not just a physical abuser but also a manipulative jackass in what little we’ve seen. How Vox reacts depends on the extent of Valentino’s influence, in my opinion.
Either Vox will snap and realize he is an unhealthy situation and swear off Valentino, going either traitor or main villain on everyone, or he will snap and realize that Valentino is abusing him but push the blame off of Val and onto someone else - likely either Alastor or Angel Dust.
Or he’s content with their unhealthy relationship and does nothing. Or there are hidden depths to the relationship that we haven’t seen and Val is only an occasional dick. Or Vivz and co. are using domestic violence as slapstick comedy which is hmmm. Or maybe Vox’s pet shark will decide enough is enough and have a cockroach for lunch. Or the abuse will get retconned and everything is perfectly fine in Triple V land.
Who knows.
A scenario for you: alastor with a little shitheel who died at the age of 8 who he has to look after because Plot
Baron Samedi shows up and drops a brat on Alastor’s lap with zero explanation, just, “This is your problem now,” and then vanishes again, leaving Alastor with a child in a hotel full of idiots.
I’m imagining they run into Triple V or something who tries to cause problems and in the middle of their intimidation contest this snarky little 8 year old pops up from behind Alastor to, in the words of John Mulaney, “bully them accurately and target what they’re insecure about.”
Sir Pentious would be absolutely thrilled. Signs himself up as godfather and checks into the hotel. The thought of Alastor raising a child is enough to make certain powers reconsider implementing Child Protective Services. Or worse, the kid grows up into Alastor 2.0 and Hell never recovers.
Angel Dust is the vodka aunt who actually likes kids. Sometimes. Husk is the chill uncle that actually knows things about child-raising. Vaggie just wants to sleep. Charlie is over the bloody Heaven-moon.
Alastor did not agree to this and would like the Baron to come take the child back this instant. (He’s a proud parent deep, deep down inside.)
More Hazbin Theories, “Addict” Edition
My brain is stuck on the “Addict” music video, especially in regards to Triple V, Angel Dust, Alastor, and the general power dynamics of Hell.
Two of my biggest questions are these:
How old is Valentino? When did he die? And how does that affect everyone else?
Who is the one eyed spider in Cherri Bomb’s flashbacks?
Let’s address part one first, since that’ll tie into the second in a minute here.
Imagine the three V's but there the Heathers omg-
That’s exactly what I was thinking when I wrote that.
