Snow Adventures in Arcadia ❄

A magical mishap happens and now one of the lakes in Arcadia is frozen and there's snow everywhere. And instead of being worried you all decide to indulge yourselves with a little fun. Draal, Aarrrgh, and Blinky watch from the safety of the trees happy that the kids are happy.

After acquiring skates and the warmest clothes you have, you all run onto the ice excited. Toby is surprisingly the best at iceskating and spins around you to show off. Claire is the second best and can do some tricks like twirl and spin but she stumbles a lot. And Jim... Jim's struggling. Draals laughing. But not in a mean way.

You, Claire, and Toby help Jim glide over the ice. He eventually gets the hang of it and has fun as you all spin and glide around him. You get into a game of tag and race eachother squealing as you slip n slide across the ice.

After hours of iceskating you guys decide to grab some hot coco to warm up. Your clothes are wet and your cold but your having too much of a good time to give up yet. (You'd made thermoses earlier after grabbing skates/clothes from home.) You lean against Draal Aarrrgh and Blinky who are warm and you all bundle up drinking your warm drinks. Meanwhile the trolls sip a warm brew from TrollMarket.

Toby the mischievous boy he is slips off with Aarrrgh saying that he needs to grab something only to pelt Jim, Blinky, Draal, You and Claire in snowballs. Using Blinky and Draal as makeshift shields it becomes a full on war!!!

Blinky uses his four arms to pelt you all as you weave in between trees and use your trollhunter training to dodge the oncoming attacks. Draal spins around throwing snow in waves everywhere as Jim uses his armor to slice any projectiles before they can hit him.

It Becomes a full on Snowball War!!!

Aarrrgh and Toby teamed up to ambush you all but it seems everyone else is on their own. Toby laugh playfully as Aarrrgh quickly builds a snow fort so Toby won't be pelted as you all make a quick alliance to get him.

Blinky with his four arms makes a fort of his own but it's soon taken over by you Claire as Jim and Draal try to storm his fort. Claire Blinky and you try and ward off Toby and Aarrrghs attacks as Draal attacks their fort. Laughter can be heard for miles as snowball after snowball is thrown and fort after fort are knocked down.

Once your done with your snowball war Aarrrgh chuffs. Your all laying in the snow exhasuted when he begins rolling a huge snowball. Worried that it's gonna begin again he steals Tobies scarf and Claires hat and Jims mittens along with your earmuffs before grabbing smooth stones. You all realize he's making a snowman and begin to help him.

Draal doesn't really understand the point but he enjoys making the snow warrior as he calls look cool. He adds a giant branch as a club and some icicles for claws. Blinky adds extra eyes saying it makes it look cooler and Aarrrgh just tries to make it as big as possible.

When your done it's the hugest snowman you've ever seen Toby takes a million pictures out of excitement. It's bigger than Aarrrgh!!!

Your all about to leave when Jim sees a hill. Summoning his armor you all learn his Athenas shield makes an amazing sled and take turns riding down the hill with him. Aarrrgh and Draal get so excited they curl up into balls and falls off the hill before they race you all.

As night falls it's freezing and your all soaked and shivering hugging eachother for warmth. Your cold but it was well worth it to spend the day not training and having fun. The trolls unaffected by the snow pick you up and carry you back to Trollmarket to get you guys at a normal temperature again.

Warm in TrollMarket away from the cold Blinky and Aarrrgh grab thick furr blankets and bundle you all next to the libraries fire. They make warm apple cider for you to drink and him and Aarrrgh cuddle close as Draal flops ontop of your legs to squish warmness into you.

Making sure your all bundled up Blinky takes out a book and begins reading troll lore stories until you all drift asleep dreaming of snow and all the fun you had.

me realizing that there is enough time between now and then end of 2021 for a second season of Wizards to come out before the movie:

Here’s what I’m thinking about tonight instead of sleeping.

So, when their familiar gets rescued from the Darklands, a changeling is stuck in their troll form, like NotEnrique was when Enrique was brought home.  That means that all the babies that Chomsky and NotEnrique rescued will have a changeling somewhere who suddenly and inexplicably (as far as the people around them know) reverts to their troll form and ca’t change back.

Not only is that kinda funny, it’s also kinda dangerous because when it happens they might panic and hurt someone in an attempt to flee, or deliberately since they have been exposed and don’t care anymore (some of those guys are not nice.

I’m also wondering what happened to all the babies.  I mean, NotEnrique gave them to Barbara, but she can’t possibly raise hundreds of kids! So how did their existence get explained?  Even if whoever deals with that mess knows the truth (which is unlikely) they’re never going to be able to get them all home to their families because:

(they will be from all parts of the planet.  it makes sense that a lot will be from the Arcadia region, but there are a lot of other places they will be from too, and getting them all sorted, finding out who they are and getting them home will be very difficult/

although time has passed and the changelings posing as them have grown up and had a life, the babies are still babies, that means that a lot of their families will not be expecting or be prepared to take on a baby that they thought they had already raised. Especially given the shock of their previous son or daughter having just turned into a troll.

Time and life being what it is, some of those kids won’t have a family to return to anyway.

I’m wondering if point two or three there will apply to baby Strickler.  I mean, Strickler is pretty old, if his parents are still around, they are probably not going to be capable of keeping up with a baby.  So now I’m imagining Strickler and Barbara raising him, either claiming to have adopted him, or passing him off as their own son, trying as best they can go give him a normal childhood.  That won’t be easy, because I’m assuming that Strickler can’t appear human anymore, so thie kid will have a green troll for a dad, and a blue half troll for a big brother.  He’s going to grow up with uncles Blinky and AAARRRGGHH!!! coming over to hang out whenever Jim’s in town, and taking trips on the gyre to visit his big brother in New Trollmarket. Jim’s going to be weirded out at first by the fact that his mom is raising a baby Strickler but he’ll get over it eventually. Also, because he is Walter Strickler, but Strickler is too, the baby will probably become known as Watler Strickler jr.  Poor kid.

Anyway, if this exists as fic, can someone point me in the right direction? and if it doesn’t, someone should really write it!
