Here’s your reminder that you’re already wealthy if you have time, peace, love, and purpose. The rest is extra. ✨️
God’s word is filled with stories of those who chase after wealth, power, pleasure, and their own benefit. And they all face the Lord’s justice for their actions.
See the stories of King Saul, Jezebel, Haman, etc.
Now contrast this with the stories of those who sought the kingdom of God, and wished to do His will above their own.
See the difference?
Those who humble themselves before the Lord are not exalted, but cared for. And those who seek power and wealth for themselves are ultimately brought to ruin.
One thing you’ll never find in the Bible is a story about those trusting in God worrying about where they will find food, shelter, clothes, etc. This is because they firsts ought the kingdom of God. By trusting in Jesus’ own words, they knew that they’d be provided for.
Those who call themselves followers of Christ must set their sights on things above, things unseen. For it ebt doing do that you set your sights on what truly matters, things that are eternal. By seeking first the kingdom, we let go of pursuing temporary attributes that’ll only perish with us. By setting our sights on things above, we become truly rich.
God will bless our efforts to pursue Him be providing what we need in order to do so.
Take the story of Philip and the Eunuch from Acts 8.
The eunuch was rich materially, but now before God. This is why the Lord sent Philip to him, to guide him towards true wealth, which is knowing Jesus.
By pursuing Christ, not only do we become rich, but we are then called to guide others towards this divine wealth that we are inheriting in Christ Jesus.
This is how we make Jesus rich, with the souls that’ll whether heaven, and it’s how we secure our riches in heaven, which neither rust nor deteriorate.
By making Jesus rich, we make ourselves rich in heaven. And by doing so, we ensures that we will be provided for here on earth.
If we trust in the Lord, God will entrust us with true wealth, and the richer we make God, the richer He will make us in knowing Him.
This is what it means to pursue wealth as a Christian, and how by doing so, we begin to trust in the Lord more and more with every passing day.
God bless, Jesus loves you ✝️❤️

Self-sufficiency is the greatest wealth of all.
Epicurus
1 Do not envy evil people or wish you were with them, 2 because their minds plot violence, and their lips talk trouble.
3 With wisdom a house is built. With understanding it is established. 4 With knowledge its rooms are filled with every kind of riches, both precious and pleasant.
5 A strong man knows how to use his strength, but a person with knowledge is even more powerful. 6 After all, with the right strategy you can wage war, and with many advisers there is victory.
7 Matters of wisdom are beyond the grasp of a stubborn fool. At the city gate he does not open his mouth. 8 Whoever plans to do evil will be known as a schemer. 9 Foolish scheming is sinful, and a mocker is disgusting to everyone.
10 If you faint in a crisis, you are weak. 11 Rescue captives condemned to death, and spare those staggering toward their slaughter. 12 When you say, “We didn’t know this,” won’t the one who weighs hearts take note of it? Won’t the one who guards your soul know it? Won’t he pay back people for what they do?
13 Eat honey, my son, because it is good. Honey that flows from the honeycomb tastes sweet. 14 The knowledge of wisdom is like that for your soul. If you find it, then there is a future, and your hope will never be cut off.
15 You wicked one, do not lie in ambush at the home of a righteous person. Do not rob his house. 16 A righteous person may fall seven times, but he gets up again. However, in a disaster wicked people fall.
17 Do not be happy when your enemy falls, and do not feel glad when he stumbles. 18 Yahweh will see it, he won’t like it, and he will turn his anger away from that person.
19 Do not get overly upset with evildoers. Do not envy wicked people, 20 because an evil person has no future, and the lamps of wicked people will be snuffed out.
21 Fear Yahweh, my son. Fear the king as well. Do not associate with those who always insist upon change, 22 because disaster will come to them suddenly.
