the real question is… would Mike be a manga reading, anime art style mastering otaku at some point in his life? Like this one singular boy who actually can relate to all the underwritten main characters in shonens, spending hours dancing to one 2-minute opening in his room, feeling a lot better about having only one (stinky) friend because they’re now freaky otakus not accepted by society.

also the new exciting activity is now unblocked! Showing all the 700 hundred series of Mike’s favorite shonen boy himself, watched in a span of two weeks. Andrey never ended up saying that every time he was pulling up to the function he had forgotten most of the episodes they already watched. (HE IS NOT SITTING THROW IT ALL OWER AGAIN) Speaking of Andrey, he never told his friend the anime they’re watching is basically the most idiotic and superfluously complicated thing that Andrey has witnessed in his entire life. No, don’t get him wrong, he still liked the ginormous boobs monster ladies making hentai sounds, but other than that the only thing he hoped for is that a third ground yaoi line between two characters that don’t matter to the plot makes Mike wanna kiss him.

Seit ich klein war, hatte mein Vater mir beigebracht, dass die Welt schlecht ist. Die Welt ist schlecht, und der Mensch ist auch schlecht. Trau keinem, geh nicht mit Fremden und so weiter. Das hatten mir meine Eltern erzählt, das hatten mir meine Lehrer erzählt, und das Fernsehen erzählte es auch. Wenn man Nachrichten guckte: Der Mensch ist schlecht. Wenn man Spiegel TV guckte: Der Mensch ist schlecht. Und vielleicht stimmte das ja auch, und der Mensch war zu 99 Prozent schlecht. Aber das Seltsame war, dass Tschick und ich auf unserer Reise fast ausschließlich dem einen Prozent begegneten, das nicht schlecht war. Da klingelt man nachts um vier irgendwen aus dem Bett, weil man gar nichts von ihm will, und er ist superfreundlich und bietet auch noch seine Hilfe an. Auf so was sollte man in der Schule vielleicht auch mal hinweisen, damit man nicht völlig davon überrascht wird. Ich war jedenfalls so überrascht, dass ich nur noch rumstotterte.

I don't know about u guys but at german schools we read some specific books or watch specific movies to learn from them.

But I don't know if it's the same ones that u guys go over too. Anyways...

One off these books/movies is "tschick" or "why we took the car". Don't know why it got translated like that but OK.

This movie has more gay tension than my Google history.

It's about ab boy named Maik, an insecure teenager from Berlin who feels uncomfortable and misunderstood during the summer holidays. His life changes when he gets an rebellious and naughty classmate Andrej Tschichatschow, known as "Tschick".

I like to think that Marlon and Kong are in the same class since Kong failed a year or two. Since this movie is like super common to be big topic for class in german schools they so have to watch it.

I swear they rage every time they don't kiss or Maik crushing on a girl. I mean like Tschick suggested it even once. Plus Marlon being this good boy would get this need to have a rebellious trip with his -not yet bf but certificated crush-.

I can recommend this movie but be warned they don't kiss. 😭😮‍💨
