Hello, hello~! I'm very happy to finally share my translations for the Tsuki Kagetsu pamphlet~
Tsuki Kagetsu is onmyouji-themed, and its world is filled with mysterious forces, spirits, and the people who keep it in control.
It has pretty dark undertones too, which is really enjoyable and offers a lot of food for thought in terms of theories and headcanons!
Lore-wise, it is implied to be very political, but aside from bits and pieces shown through the characters' lores, it doesn't dive too deep into it. (Although I wish it did LMAO)
Either way, it establishes a strong lore while still leaving some stuff up to interpretation so fans can have fun with it~!
Like with every other AGF theme, I am once again saying that I wish to see it adapted on stage someday, too!
(I have not given up on Picatrix stage yet...!😂)

A bit of a trigger warning:
There are multiple mentions of death, near-death experiences, and abuse (specifically child abuse) in the lore, so please be mindful as you read.
The characters have two sets of quotes, one from the picture uploaded on Twitter, and then there's the quote in the pamphlet.
I've labeled them "Pictured Quote (Twitter Quote)" and "Pamphlet Quote" respectively, to avoid confusion.

The peace has come to an unexpected end ------.
All of a sudden, a mysterious fleet belonging to an unknown coalition appeared.
It consisted of many enormous battleships equipped with strange weapons.
Coming in contact with a completely different technology and civilization, mankind who knew nothing except their own existing intelligence attempts to face them in spite of being bewildered.
However, the crew members, who were supposed to be boarding those machines...... were missing.
Without warning, “they” bare their fangs.
“They” have no need for crew members and such.
The machines, the battleships themselves were invaders with sentience of their own.
Facing the differences of tactical and fighting strengths, humanity is driven to the wall to their wits’ end.
In that desperate war situation, mankind is going forward to the future known as “destruction”.
And yet… … there is only a single hope left.
Among “them”, a very small number of “rebels”, who wished for co-existence, had successfully gotten in touch with mankind.
They change their appearance to small rings and entrust their hearts and power to worthy children.
Thus, this shall begin the final battle for the survival of humankind.
And finally, the world changes its shape

☐ The previous work, ‘Tsukino Empire’, delivered a spectacular space drama centred around the life or death battle between the human civilisation and “them”, a mysterious opponent coming from the other side of the universe flying and who attacked mankind.
A human drama brought to its utmost limits, unfolding on the brink of destruction.
Among “them” there are rebels who took sides with the humanity.
And as a result of the interaction between humans and “them”, some mysterious yet cute beings called ‘spirit beasts’ took birth.
Make sure to check the entire package for a spectacular final battle that engulfs everything.
Below there’s a list summarizing the common points and the similar points between ‘Tsukino Empire’ and the after story, ‘Machine Elements’.

In ‘Tsukino Empire’, each unit’s emblem was represented by their initials, and this time the guild emblems followed the same pattern.

There are still people here and there who possess ‘rings’, some essential items passed over from ‘Tsukino Empire’. Here are only a few of them, so make sure you look for all.

⇑The previous work and the current work’s common English catchphrase
Both ‘Tsukino Empire’ and ‘Machine Elements’ kept the same English catchphrase.
The literal translation is “Release your spirit”.
In the previous work, these ‘keywords’ put emphasis on the interaction between mankind and “them”, who try to understand the human ‘spirit’ despite not possessing one of their own, and at the same time, these ‘keywords’ also refer to the bonds created by fighting side-by-side with comrades.
However in the current work, the world is ruled by peace and “they” don’t exist.
Therefore, there is also no longer needed to fight (for now).
Then what on earth does ‘Release your spirit’ symbolize?
And also, what is its purpose?

Initially both stage plays were meant to have the same Japanese catchphrase, but halfway in a few details have been changed.
“Changes its shape” embodied the destruction of the human society at that point, brought by the assault following “their” sudden appearance from the other side of the universe.
At the same time, it also represented the transformation of the world surrounding the hosts, who were one day suddenly chosen by the rings.
On the other hand, in this work, ‘the world’s gears’ are moving around.
Going with the flow of the previous work, it can be said that the world surrounding them is about to experience a drastic change. The story will begin to move from there but what we want everyone to focus on is the fact that “the world has gears”.
It has gears.
So that means that the world is…?
Make sure you pay attention to the meaning of the kanji ‘turn’.

Hello, hello~! It has been a really long time since Picatrix released, and translating the pamphlet took a lot more time than usual ^^;
Tsukino Picatrix was their prompt/theme last year, and it's a world of magic, wizards, fantasy, and mysteries~
It's an interesting and magical take with strong astrological themes and influences, if I'm being honest, but the lore and world-building is solid as always!
It still leaves a lot open to interpretation for the sake of letting the fans be creative about it. You gotta love how much TsukiPro spoils us with these AUs~
With Fujiwara leaving the creative board, I'm afraid that things in the fandom have been slow, and it's been difficult to stay locked in to it, but TsukiPika slowly brought me back down that deep, deep swamp.

I do hope we get to see Tsukino Picatrix adapted on stage one of these days! I'd love to see SQS's take on it, that's for sure~

With SQS7 already starting and in full swing, I figured I should start posting some of the translations for the Zanshin pamphlet~! Just so we can all be familiarized with the world-building and the lore within! (*≧ω≦*) (The play GenePros got me too hyped orz)
As with all TsukiPro AGF content, the lore is very rich, and the world-building very intricate, with some parts still open to interpretation!
With SQS7 already in motion, there will be more lore added to the play, but even then, the pamphlet’s lore itself is already full of information!
I’ll post one every other day just to keep my queue active, but let’s start with the very important introduction and glossary!
Some of you may notice some familiar words and names, but as is the case, the connections are up to us to decipher~! (✧ω✧)
