You and Tsukki were sat in the living room watching a random show on Netflix. You were leaning on Tsukki, trying to get the most 'cuddling' out of this as possible. As you did so, you suddenly realized the shit ton of work you had to do and that you had a paper due the day after tomorrow and you hadn't even started it.

Oh fuck.

The thought of the mass amounts of piled-up work made your heart beat faster, your mind refusing to focus on anything other than the work you had to do.

As you sat, Tsukki felt your breaths get faster.

"Y/n?" he questioned, starting to get concerned. "Are you alright?"

He looked over at you and saw you hyperventilating, your face dripping in sweat. Unsure what to do, he did the first thing that came to mind and ran to get you water.

He brought back a bottle of water and lifted the bottle to your lips, trying his best to get you to drink it. Once you had drank enough, he pulled you into his chest.

"It's ok. You're ok," he said, rubbing your back until your breathing slowed again.

Once you calmed down and were ready to talk, Tsukki asked you what was wrong.

"I just... i have so much to do but I can't find the motivation to do it," you cried. "Here, I'll help you. What do you need to do?" "Uhm, I have a paper due in 2 days," you said. "And I haven't touched it."

After that, Tsukki helped you write your paper for the next 2 days, serving as your research helper and editor.

Oikawa and you were sitting in bed. You were working on your newest college assignment and your boyfriend was scrolling through his phone, not worrying about school work.

As you started your math work, you saw that you didn't know the first question. You didn't consider this too big of a deal and went to the next question. But as you scrolled through the document, you realized you had no idea what to do with any of the questions. You were confused, to say the least. You had been paying attention in all of your classes so why did you have no idea what was going on? Were you not cut out for college?

You were brought out of your thoughts by your sudden inability to breathe, your lungs struggling to fill themselves. Your boyfriend noticed this and immediately turned to you.

"Y/n?" he asked, unsure what was happening to you.

He soon realized it was a panic attack and pulled you into his chest. He knew exactly what to do here as he had experienced many panic attacks himself.

"Breathe with me, ok. Inhale. 1. 2. 3. 4. Exhale. 1. 2. 3. 4," he said, making sure you were following along as he spoke.

Once your breathing had calmed down, he grabbed you some water.

"What's wrong, baby?" "I don't get any of this, Tooru," you sobbed. "What if I'm not meant for college?" "Hey, don't say that. You're one of the smartest people I know. Trust me, you're perfect for this," he rubbed your back.

He reassured you the entire rest of the night and tried his best to help you with your homework.

“Push me?” You scoff at him, you raised you head to face meet his gaze, he was too tall for your taste. “Excuse me?” You heart tightened inside your chest, were your feelings that hard to understand?

“What?” His eyebrows furrowed into a confused expression. So unusual to him as he stepped closer to you. “I don’t understand you, y/n.”

“Oh, of course you can’t.” You laughed a motionless laugh. “How could you? When you mock my feelings and my broken heart?”

Not that I said it was you, the one who broke it, but I didn’t need to. It was at your sight all this time.

“Yours?” His eyes were cold again, but he didn’t go away from you. “You want to tell me that I mocked you? When this?”

“I won’t talk to you, Tsukki.” You sighed and tried to hide your tears. “I’ll go home.”

“No” He muttered and suddenly his fingers were around your wrist. You couldn’t help but to stare there. Your heart rushing on your chest. “You get all talkative about this unknown man and how he doesn’t care about your feelings, how he’s too oblivious to you and...”

He stops right away. His heart in a rush. You two were friends ever since childhood. He knew all your crushes and broken hearts, but he never thought of...

Actually, he thought of it. He thought of him falling for you, even though his rational mind made him believe you’d never fall for him back. Tsukki refused to know the truth.

You gulped silently as his words settled down. His hand traveled from your wrist to your forearm, caressing your skin and then settled on your arm, playing with your sleeves till he reached your shoulder. “Tsukki?” You mumbled out of breath once you realized the light in his eyes somehow changed.

“I think just now I realized...” He whispered and came impossible closer to you. His slender fingers from his free hand held a strand of your hair to put it behind your ear. “How stupid I was.”

“What?” You were the one now who wore an unease expression. What could it be? He didn’t look like your Tsukki.

“I know what’s wrong, y/n” His lips curled up a bit when your eyes met and you drowned into his gaze. “I sank so deep into my own realizations that I was blind to both your feelings and mine.”

The hand that was on your shoulder lays now on your waist, and the free one caresses the top of your head as he pulls you closer to a hug. His chin resting there and he closes his eyes to feel you against him. “I thought I knew you better, how stupid. That we would stay forever like this.” He chuckled. “But not anymore.”

“Tsukki, what...?” You gasped when he cupped your cheeks with both of his hands, his lips parted into a smile so bright you’ll never forget.

“I can see you now, y/n, and I can see how you feel.” You felt yourself blush under his touch. “Somehow, deep inside me, I was waiting for you. Waiting for something.”

We’ll never be like what once we were like. Not anymore. Not after this. He thought. But he held no regrets on his mind and heart. Just hope.

“And what is it?” You whispered, half scared and half excited for his answer.
