Indulge in the rich flavors of salted brownie cookies, a delightful fusion of brownie and cookie. These cookies are perfect for satisfying your sweet and salty cravings.
Ingredients: 1/2 cup 1 stick unsalted butter, melted. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar. 1 large egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips. Flaky sea salt, for sprinkling.
Instructions: Set the oven to 350F 175C and heat it up. Put parchment paper on baking sheets. Melted butter, white sugar, and brown sugar should all be mixed together well in a mixing bowl using a whisk. To the butter and sugar mix, add the egg and vanilla extract. Whisk the mixture until it is smooth. Mix the cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and flour together in a different bowl using a whisk. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and mix them together until they are just combined. The chocolate chips should be carefully mixed in. Place rounded tablespoons of cookie dough about 2 inches apart on the baking sheets that have been prepared. Use the back of a spoon to gently press down on each cookie dough scoop. After the oven is hot, bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the middles are still a little soft. Add a pinch of flaky sea salt to each cookie as soon as you take them out of the oven. For a few minutes, let the cookies cool on the baking sheets. Then, move them to a wire rack to cool completely. The cookies are ready to eat once they have cooled down.
