what do i call the uh job thing my characters do in my show/book/story/whatever

i literally have no idea at all aaaaaaahelp

for those of you who do not know, my 3 main characters are part of of a large community of people blessed by the goddess of death who can see ghosts. these people choose to go out and find ghosts so they can try their best to complete whatever unfinished business is keeping the ghosts tethered to the mortal world. my current name for them is ghost helpers, with each ghost they help being called a mission in the community. i am Not officially calling them ghost helpers bcs that sound clunky and i hate it
