There is no way (to me) that Silent Salt escaped everything he went through as Lord Commander without PTSD.

As a result, I was thinking about places Silent Salt would go after his "redemption" (quotations bc this man never fully fell anyway) and eventually landed on Hollyberrian celebrations.

At first, I think it would be bittersweet. It would be like the Faerie celebrations just a bit too much for his open wound. Then, the fireworks would come. At this point, Salt would slink away, leaving Saint Lily to find him among the gardens.

For self shippers who dislike fireworks:

Your f/o doesn't judge you for getting upset or startled by loud noises. They understand that this time of the year can be rough for you and they're willing to do whatever they need to make sure you're comfortable and safe!

If you enjoy watching the fireworks, but are upset by the sounds, your f/o will get you something soft and sturdy to muffle out the explosions. That way you can enjoy all the beautiful colors with no discomfort or disturbance!

If you'd rather just avoid fireworks in general, your f/o is more than happy to fetch both of you some noise cancelling headphones so you can listen to some of your favorite songs instead! They'll also make sure the doors and windows are closed, so only the smallest amount of noise comes through

If you decide to power through it, they won't force you to change your mind, but they'll make sure you can have some headache medication if things become hard to handle. They'll also welcome you to hold on to them whenever you need comfort and reassurance!

Your f/o loves and cares about you, more than anything else in the world! Your well-being and safety will always be their number one priority. They would never judge you for needing some extra care and attention during this time of the year, taking care of you brings them indescribable happiness!

It's the Fourth of July, one of my least favorite days of the year. I hate the fireworks and all of the negative effects of them. Even more then that I hate this racist holiday that only celebrities the "freedoms" of a select few.

I hope that y'all stay safe out there today my fellow disabled friends. As well as everyone else.

i love fireworks

i used to hate them because of how loud they were, but then i realized that they were a great excuse to make another soundtrack because i do that a LOT and just compile random songs together that i find fit for an occasion and ever since i’ve made a firework soundtrack for every single holiday that includes fireworks every year

i haven’t made one yet for this year though lol, i need to get on that
