Yoosung
You go through the worst amount of cramping in your entire life nearly every day. There’s no way to control it apart from managing your diet and there’s no way to alleviate much of the brunt of the symptoms. You watch what you eat and you do your best to hide any discomfort from others that you’re around. It’s just the way that you’ve coped.
When you find yourself fraught with tears and struggling to get by, Yoosung is always there to help you through it. If you need heat or ice, he’s always going to grab that first. He can’t do much, he knows that, but he’s more than happy to do the little things to alleviate the worse part of the symptoms. He hates to see you in tears so anything he can do to make the episode calm down, he’s quick to do it.
Jaehee
You’ve had a hard time keeping your job and managing work-life thanks to your illness. It never makes it easy for you. You often cancel meetings during lunch or any break hours just to avoid the need to dash in or dash out. You do what you can and tend to minimize interactions or any little thing that means that you’ll be far from the restroom.
Jaehee understands your plight. It becomes something that the two of you have to talk about when you start working together in the cafe. You hate to bring it up but it’s something that you live with so there’s no avoiding it. She makes a point of hiring more staff and swooping in when you need to step back and take care of yourself. She is always mindful of this. She has tea waiting for you.
Zen
If there’s one thing that triggers you more than anything in the fridge, it’s something that is acidic or that just burns in general. You’ll have reflux for the rest of the night and pray that you won’t have to sleep in an upright position with your fingers clutched around a pillow. The easiest thing to do is chug ice when that happens, but sometimes you wished that you just had cramps instead.
The first time you drink a beer with Zen, that’s a big regret of yours but he makes changes to life really fast when he realizes that he’s doing something that you cannot do as it will hurt your body. Swapping to a better diet isn’t all that hard for him, but he learns fast and does his best to do right by you. If you’re going through the worst of it, he’ll rub your back and coo softly.
Jumin
You’ve always had to make a mad dash out of a room when you’ve eaten just one bite too much of something. It’s not something you talk about but it is a fact of life that you never forget. You hate doing it but you can’t control nausea and you can’t control what it does to you. You tend to spend a lot of nights hunched over the toilet or trying not to make yourself feel worse than you already do.
This can easily be fixed, Jumin reasons, secluded dinners at home in different areas of the penthouse. He knows that he doesn’t have to take you to any place fancy to prove his love to you. After all, it’s the little things that he knows that you both enjoy. Like baking together. You don’t have to worry about anyone looking or judging you,
Seven
You’ve got nerves, but what really bothers you the most is that you struggle to exist in the same space as people. You get very mortified and embarrassed over the way your stomach churns and hisses at you over and over again. You get so caught up in your worries that you can’t think about anything but how everyone else around you must feel and say when you aren’t looking.
If you get embarrassed over yourself, then he’s quick to draw attention to himself so you don’t feel like all eyes in the room are on you. Seven knows that you tend to get overwhelmed in public spaces and things that you can’t control so he does his best to make you laugh when you need something to cool down the overload that hits.
V
You aren’t sure what’s worse, the constant cramping or the nausea. Between the pain in your gut and the feeling you get when you so much as glance at food if it happens to be a bad day. It leaves you truly unable to get out of bed or off of the couch and that feeling of helplessness is what makes you feel the worst most days.
V struggles knowing that he can’t do anything for you to help apart from giving you ice or something to settle your nerves. He does stay close by if you need anything and he’s always so fast to get anything you need before you even get the words out of your mouth. You’ll have to remind him to take care of himself to in the process.
