our mouse bites got infected... ooof. texted abuser, its only been less than a day so we prob wont get rat fever, but it stings badly and is yellow/liquidy, tho not smell/thick it's thin like water. And then on our other hand theres like a like what looks like a scab over a chunk of flesh, when the fuck did that happen, we dont even know what couldve caused it. what caused the bite for us was mouse in house and we tried to pick it up (foolish) and it bit us twice for at least a few seconds each.
And we cant tell because our health is shit already but we swear we've felt more psychotic symtopms today and brain fog/confusion/disorientation & a sort of underline frantic/quick breath & heartbeat
but we also dealt with being redacted straight when waking up then not eaying for 3 hours, so it could be from all that.
We hope it isn't something horrible
Cuz I wanna be able to tag it fully lmao, tw for spiders. Lot and lots of spiders @icedmetaltea
Like a year or two ago, we were raking the yard and I found a little egg sac, and because I’m the silly bug lover I am, I took it inside and put it in a jar with a corkscrew lid. I ended up being stung by a wasp another day so I put it in the jar to study it. Granted I got distracted and it chewed it’s way through the cork. I replaced it with feathers and had it out as a decoration, kinda forgetting that the egg sack was in there. Did a deep clean during winter and put the jar in my closet. I’m sure you can already tell where this is going. Sometimes when it had gotten warmer outside they uh, they all hatched, in my closet. I didn’t notice at first because I was trying to get ready for school. Eventually I saw like one or two and was like “man, that’s weird”. And then I looked up. There was a bunch of them dropping from the ceiling all over my room. They were obviously waiting for the wind to fly them to a new home. And that was not going to happen in my room. They were barn spiders/cat faced spiders. So I had to gather as many as I could and set them free. The others made an unfortunate end. I miss them. They were in every corner of my room. It was a true infestation where they were not disappearing. I genuinely didn’t get rid of all of them for like, a week.

You’ve heard of Mushroom!Benrey. Now get ready for Cordycep!Benrey :)
The Black Mesa cascade caused cordycep like alien spores to infest the facility. Gordon was spared because of the helmet on his HEV suit, but Benrey being in there, unprotected, became patient zero and began to infect everybody else on the team.
Stage 1: Confusion Hosts will become dazed and confused as the parasite travels through their body and begins to eat their brain. Headaches, blackouts, and fogginess will occur.
Stage 2: Seeking conditions for spores to grow Hosts will begin to seek warm climates of 20-30C (77-86F) and humidity of 95%. Perfect conditions for the infection to grow and thrive.
Stage 3: Death bites/violent outbursts Since cordyceps need wind to carry their spores and they're inside, they would bite down on other hosts to try and infect them.
Stage 4: Full assimilation Within a few days, assimilation is definite. The host will become a shell of their former self. Becoming part of the cordycep collective. All thoughts are connected, and they will seek out new hosts to bite onto others to infect the with spores into any orifices on the body

Hello Sharkie!
I'm super grateful that you reached out to help bug having anon, I try to help as best I can but it's different when it's from someone who knows exactly what you're going through! Having bugs in your bed doesn't sound nice at all… that the worst place for them to be methinks! It's always a mystery how they find their ways into our homes.. ants aren't terrible bugs but hopefully they don't venture inside again! I've been living with cloth moths my whole life and it is not fun at all.. my house is super clean and I even keep my clothing in bags to keep them off but I still find them! It's super frustrating..
Sending much love to you both, thank you again for reaching out to bug anon, it's so sweet to know we aren't alone!! Best of luck with your bug frustrations.. hopefully they read this and get the memo!
