aight for those who didn’t catch it the first time:

please, please, PLEASE tag your pro-piracy posts with piracy or tw piracy or anything like that, it makes some people (INCLUDING ME) really, REALLY uncomfortable. like, it makes me feel physically ill sometimes.

and sometimes I just see people, in the tags of posts and reblogs, saying stuff like “just pirate x thing” in the frickin’ tags of posts.

and no.

like, I know I’d feel really hurt if I put my heart and soul into a piece of media and then saw people just pirating it instead of getting it officially. I’d probably never make anything again if that were to happen to me.

and I start getting paranoid about stuff like that happening in the future when I see these things, ESPECIALLY FROM MY MUTUALS.

and also, like... it’s illegal. like it or not, no matter the motivation or who made the thing or what thing you’re pirating, whether good or bad, it’s still stealing, and it can certainly be used to take from good people who’d deserve the money. of course it’s going to make some people uncomfortable.

again, I know that if I made something I wouldn’t want people to pirate it.

so please, TAG PIRACY POSTS. AND MAYBE EVEN JUST TAG IT IF YOU’RE GOING TO SAY STUFF ABOUT IT IN THE TAGS BECAUSE THAT CAN HAVE THE EXACT SAME EFFECT (LITERALLY JUST HAPPENED TO ME RIGHT NOW. I FEEL SICK. AND IT’S GETTING ME REALLY WORKED UP BECAUSE THIS IS LIKE THE THIRD TIME TODAY AND I’M TIRED OF SEEING IT).
