Dawnstar is a bisexual Native American heroine born in the 31st century, on planet Starhaven (an American Indigenous homeworld); genetic engineering gave her physical wings & bodily adaptations to survive unaided in outer space, but she also has the mutant power to track subjects & locations over interstellar distances (and by means unknown, her physical wings were later replaced by "spirit wings" which only manifest when flying and/or tracking); she's a veteran Legion of Super-Heroes member, and thus, courtesy of their time travel, has also aided heroes like the Teen Titans & Justice League!
