Picture it! This soft boy is your childhood BFF. You grew up together, you're totally inseparable, attached at the hip since elementary school, & very protective of each other. You both come from emotionally repressed homes, so you're always very loving & affectionate with each other to compensate. Physical touch is your shared love language, so frequent hugging, cuddling, & holding hands is commonplace.

One day you're just hanging out, you're sitting in his lap, or he's laying with his head in your lap, & you're just playing with his hair, minding your own business, & some rando comments in passing what a cute couple you make, & suddenly neither of you can stop thinking about it...

First, lovely, Seb's look in The Apparition is underrated. Think what you want about the film, but Ben is 🔥.

Second, best friends to lovers with Bucky (or Ben)? I imagine you sneak out to see him and vice versa after a bad day at home. You know everything about each other. He even took you to prom and the photos are some of your favorites of the two of you.

And the rando comment about you two being together? You're thankful he doesn't say, "No, no way. We're just friends!" and that glimmer of hope becomes a bright light inside you. The fact that you don't brush it off quickly either gives him hope, too. He'd be lying if he said he hadn't thought about it before. Because who better to be with than the person who knows him better than anyone else? His beautiful, amazing, compassionate best friend?

He just needs to admit how he feels.
