2008's All-Star Batman & Robin, the Boy Wonder #12 (unpublished) variant cover by cover artist Bill Sienkiewicz.
From Siegel and Shuster: Dateline 1930's, 1984.
It seems that in 1935 the creators of Superman tried to start a comic tablod in which they did all the stories and art. However it was never published. For some reason they didn’t put their as yet unsold character Superman in it, it did however have Bruce Verne G-Man of the Future.
The Survivor was never published nor finished and is important in that it displays Dave Cockrum's redesign of Timber Wolf and sets up the events that take place in Superboy #197 (September 1973) when the Legion became the lead feature of the book.
An Evening With Superman interior art (circa 1998). An unpublished graphic novel written and drawn by artist Barry Windsor-Smith (!!!). Source Source
Wolverine Cover Concept by Nathan Fox (2011) - Matt Fraction Source
1983's Comics Interview #6 Cover by George Pérez (R.I.P.). Source
2008's Legion of the Supernatural #1-2 covers by artist Bret Blevins (an unpublished IDW horror comic book written by Rick Remender).
The solicitation of the 1st issue can still be found on some website :
"When our heroes fail us… we will turn to our monsters ! The Legion of the Supernatural follows the last of the famous monsters in a world where superheroes have hunted their brethren to near extinction. When an army of starving inter-dimensional vampires returns to consume our world, only the Mummy, Frankenstein's Monster, The Bog Creature, The Wolf-Man, Dracula, and Sister Arcane have the power to contest the coming darkness."
Rick Remender seems to have later recycled that kind of concept (a Universal Monsters/Monsters Squad type of team) during his very good run on the Punisher/FrankenCastle (2009-2011).
