Tweeting up a storm calling black nfl players sons of bitches and demanding boycotts whenever they protest police injustice instead of focusing on Puerto Rico. And when he did talk about Puerto Rico, he talked about this debt. Their fucking debt. Hundreds of lives affected but it doesn't matter cause debt. He hasn't even waived the Jones Act so other countries could assist them. Puerto Rico's commonwealth status (colonial) means they cannot accept help from neighbor's without receiving US permission. So doctors from neighboring islands are prohibited entry. The Jones Act also means that any foreign registry vessel that enters Puerto Rico must pay punitive tariffs, taxes and fees to enter (this raises prices on the island, makes a captive market, discourages foreign aid and strangles the economy). It's almost like they're being punished for being in debt. Because #tangerinehitler isn't doing his job, Barack is out here doing overtime trying to get the people of Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands relief.
